2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

On the Ram phone app and the online website, It tells you the fuel level in your truck. But what does the "34 Miles" mean? The tank is full, and my truck has 21 miles on it. It doesn't seem to relate to anything.
Did you have to wait to sign the paperwork before you could access this? My truck arrived at the dealership yesterday but I can't see any of this yet. I can't sign the paperwork till monday

So was looking at the pics Aaron sent me and I noticed both rear fender flares were removed in the pics. I saw some pics from other members that also have DRW trucks and their flares were also missing in the pics from the dealership.

This may have been discussed before, but I don't recall seeing it and couldn't find anything via the search.

Does anyone know why or when the rear fender flares get removed from DRW trucks? Is this when they get loaded on the train or tht truckng company taking them from train to dealer? I assume this is for clearance issues during transit, just can't see that little bit helping very much.
It’s my understanding that they are installed at the dealer during the PDI and are shipped this way for clearance

That was my understanding as well. Both the rear dual flares and the front hub caps are shipped inside the truck from the factory. They’re installed during the PDI process.

May I also inquire about what floor mats come with each trim level? When I was building a longhorn and even a Laramie I believe the $150 Mopar rubber floor mats were an option, but I have been using WT on all other vehicles and was going to stick to what I know.
I ended up building and ordering a Limited and the Mopar mats were not an option. Do they come standard on a Limited 2500.? If so then I will use them and not bother with ordering weathertechs just yet.
I used Weather Tech on my last 6 vehicles. They are good. My 2020 Limited came with floor mats with snap out carpet. They are great. Didn't replace with WT. I'm expecting the same with the new truck. Very Happy with the ones it came with.

How do you get a windowsticker, ordered mine 8 4 2021 cant find out anything anywhere
If you're new, you should go back to the first post in this thread. There's lots of useful info there like how to retrieve your window sticker or build sheet. However, you won't see them pop up until the truck is built. If you're looking for status, your dealer/salesman has the best source of information absent access to an insider at the company. You can also hit up Ram Chat, but they are pretty hit or miss with having good info. You might try posting your VIN here to see if @brv10 can get you an update.

When I first saw your pics it looked like there was double sided tape pieces left on your fender like it was taken off after shipping. And pics of my truck look like they have dirt all over them in the shape of the flare like it was also removed after the fact. But maybe its just my anxiety playing tricks on my eyes lol. I about had a heart attack when I zoomed into my pictures and saw the flares missing

that would make sense, must have just miss seen things in the pics due to the poor quality when zoomed in.

Care to provide pictures?

Limited trucks have their own floor mats with a carpet insert that can supposedly removed. I didn't find out till after I sold my 2019 limited that the carpet portion was removable. I don't have pics, but weather techs will have more coverage on the sides for front and rear mats as the factory ones are way more flat.

Don’t feel bad, I thought my rear wheels were plain steel wheels with all the dirt and grime on them. But that’s what happens when you see your truck prior to PDI.

The limited / limited longhorn ones are pretty nice. Not quite as much coverage as weathertech, but they fit the truck well and accent the interior. Unfortunately weathertech doesn’t have a color that matches the mountain brown / light mountain brown so I’m going to just stick with the factory ones. The carpet section includes snaps that allow you to remove it and clean it.

Those are nice mats! I purchased a Big Horn so I doubt mine will look anything like the Limited.

A quick shout out regarding extended warranties. I just signed and paid for my 3500 from Mark Dodge and wanted to add an extended warranty due to the extensive electronics and my intention to keep the truck “forever”!! That being said, I had the Zeigler quote in hand.

They initially offered the LDS warranty (we all know why!), but quickly switched to the Factory Maxcare ESC when I rejected a 3rd party contract. As for pricing, they offered the 8/100k/200 for $2,850 which was $1,785 LESS than Zeigler. I pulled the trigger for convenience and peace of mind. Please note that if you purchase the contract in FL, no discount by Zeigler or FL based dealer.

Hopefully this info will help someone on the fence, especially if they live in FL.

This is only the second ESC I have purchased, the other was for an Audi R8 of which I used for an A/C compressor. That replacement required the driveline to be dropped for access, it was a 6k repair and I was extremely thankful that I hade bought one for that car.
Thank you for this info. I am also Florida and MD, so glad to know what is possible given the dumb Florida no discount thing.

I may have to replace factory one with that one - Part Number and what minor mods were required? I cant quite figure out from picture
I saw no problems with it but seems to be the same one I had on the Rebel. Works very well and is hidden good.

Didn’t know Mark Dodge offered the Mopar plan. I was only shown the LDS plan, rejected it, but didn’t think to even ask about Mopar. I’ll go back to Jason next week to see if they can beat or match Zeiglar. I’m in TX so can get the discounted pricing, thankfully.

Thank for the info

Pricing value is really dependent on what they are specifically covering with PPF. Looks like the quote is only for ceramic coating.
The quote is clearly two prices. $1795 for the ceramic coating, and $1395 for a partial front PPF. His website gives exact dimensions of what is covered with PPF. This was an email in response to a phone conversation prior.
