Well.... I think I've had enough with this post. Picked my truck up Friday, spent the weekend playing with all the bells and whistles plus installing my Amp running boards, bed step, mudflaps and wheels/tires.
So far so good! Good luck everyone...hope you long timers get your stuff ASAP. I'll be headed to the rest of the forum now..

Longhorn comes with the steps standard so it shows up but with no charge. Level 1 has the auto deployed steps in the package. So you will get those, not the flat cab length steps.

It looks like those were somehow selected (or the factory did it because of available parts?) and will replace the power deployable I think.

That's what I'm thinking, I'll wait for the clarification and get back to y'all

Hopefully you can get exactly what you want. Looks like you’re still early enough in the build process to make changes if it’s not exactly what you want.

I just wanted to thank the admins and others on this forum who have been such a wealth of information! I'll be moving over to the other forums here now as I have received the truck.

I flew to New Orleans and met the Mark Dodge rep at the baggage claim and was on the way home in my new truck within 10 minutes. There's a couple of minor things with the truck I need to get sorted (Factory issues, not Mark Dodge). BY the time I had gotten home, I had all the paperwork needed to register the vehicle in Florida and have to say I'd order again from MD with no reservation.

That is a very pretty truck. Went back and forth on this color vs pearl white. Your truck was built and delivered quickly. I'm happy you got yours fast but cant say I am not jealous AF

I emailed Sandi to ask about the side step confusion, but has anyone else seen this on an order sheet? Since Level 1 comes with auto deploying steps, I did NOT select an option for any steps to be added (except the one for the tailgate), yet there are both on my sheet.

It appears you have the fixed cab length steps not the deployable ones. Your POC looks just like mine except mine are Wheel to Wheel which is how i intended it.

HOLY MEGACABS BATMAN!!! Just got the email from Aaron at Mark Dodge. My MegaCab has landed!

I am hoping I can get everything in order to head there Saturday morning to pick it up. Plan to arrive around 11am and on way back to TX soon after. Taking a rental car. The rental office is very close to Mark Dodge so will arrange for them to pick me up there to get over to their lot.

Total time order to dealer: 1 day shy of 13 weeks

My truck was unloaded at the rail yard this afternoon. Just a couple more days! 4.5 months since I ordered. D1 2 months ago, shipped 2 weeks ago.

My truck will be here from Mark Dodge on Friday. I thought I’d list some info for those of you who ordered from them.
I financed through them, 2.49% 72 months. (Solid credit, large down payment)
$850 to ship from Lake Charles, LA to NC.
They say from the time a carrier picks your truck up it usually takes 2 days to get to you. (Obviously this will depend on location)
Be ready to make a wire transfer for your down payment.
Hope the info helps someone!
MD has been awesome to work with and I’ll be ordering all my Mopar vehicles from them in the future.

I can see both sides to it i suppose. Your either spending money to repair paint or replace the PPF or even both of it damages the paint in the process.

Here are some pics of film on the forward edges of my rear fenders. This is clean.
But You can still see how the dirt has ground itself into chips in the film itself.

That’s why I wanted to ask the question, It makes no sense.

I referenced the email I sent when I requested the build, clicked the link and the chrome option is selected, but there is NO way of removing it. You notice the image of the truck when the Level 1 package is selected, it shows the deployable steps (while the chrome are still selected).

When I remove the Level 1 package, the chrome steps appear….

I don't have anything past what the dealer sent when I ordered. I did the build again, you CAN NOT remove the those steps...looks like they are the standard option. I did email the dealer and asked her to clarify, and let her know that I do not want the chrome steps. I'll post what I find out.

I’m getting mine delivered to my house. At least That’s the plan for now since I’m within their delivery range. Truck will be driven. Not hauled on a flat bed. Is your being driven or hauled on a flat bed?

Also, are you trading in? I ask because one option if I trade in will be to have my old truck driven back to them.

Not sure what the plan will be if I opt to not trade in.

I was hoping my money down to just place an order would be the same way I could put “more” money down. Cc over the phone. I can wire if need be though.

That is a GREAT rate! Who exactly did you finance through? I'm still leaning towards Navy Federal or USAA, but would like to look at all options. TIA.
