2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Only real thing I ran into is that the fabric material on bottom side of bakflip disintegrates after a short while and they did not stand behind their warranties with companies who sold their products. I was doing to go with them too but I'm not spending $1300 with a company who doesn't stand by their product for consumers. People work too hard for their money..

Retrax or whatever roll up one can bind and scratch the metal and then looks bad.

I went with diamondback, made to order in Pennsylvania, coating is line x. Material is very very nice. Delivery was easy and no damage. Shipped via pallet. They also support vets and will give military discount with proof of dd214.

In the past however I used Leer covers and their quality, seal and strength are top notch.
I think we that answer my question about buying a backflip.

Wow! Many of us ordered and get to sit in D land for way more then a month and we hope and pray we get to D1. I’ve been in D since October 18. I plan on being in D land for another month at least and then traveling through D1 back to D for another month and then in several more months I’ll get the notice my truck has been recalled because it’s diesel and diesel is being banned for people like me and I’ll have to get a Prius or something.
I've been in D since Aug 23. I figure Valentinrs day. Maybe

The OWL is not there. Did you have them swap the tires? Ooops just read the whole post lol. And are you kidding, the night edition does not come with black lugs?
Nope. The Truecar discount covered the tire switcheroo and black lug nuts. Didn’t want any issues down the road and don’t like plastic covers. I don’t have time for that stuff

to you guys that are financing, what rate and terms are you getting?

Run the numbers with your local Credit Union, around me most of mine range around 2.5 to 3% for 72 months and around. 2 for 60 months.

Thats should be the same as long as your score is Considered Very Good or better and your DTI is good enough to cover their payment

Tire Question - I had decided on switching out the Firestone OE tires while they are still worth something on Craigslist and replacing with Michelin Defender LTX like I had on my 2015 that was totalled. Staying stock LT275/70R18 and vehicle is 98% on highway and 90% in south where I dont have a snow issue.
Dealer is telling me those are not currently available and pushing Michelin Agilis Cross-Climate. So does anyone here have any experience with the Michelin Agilis Cross Climate in the LT truck design (different from the P-metric design)?
Other option is probably Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT which are same price as the Michelins

Coopers run good on diesels, Mastercraft too. Same company I think.

The true Definition of D status....

Nobody knows anything... this code means your truck is entered into the lottery drawing unless you order a Hemi without sunroof.. The only thing known is D1 is your next step and it could me 1 day to 4 months in this position... If your truck possibly goes D1 you should build within 30 days and be delivered within 60 if you are fortunate enough to hold D1 position... lol

I am glad to see the orders being filled for the trucks that ordered months ago.. So I have noticed orders since the end of September have had almost zero movement in status after the 179,000 vins.. So I checked auto trader this morning for 3500 trucks.. Lots of vehicles in transit and on the lots with vins past 180,000 so this tells me they are building inventory over sold orders.. I called on a few of these and they are available for purchase. I understand they have to keep inventory going out to dealers. I did also verify these trucks have ttpms and sunroofs...
@Rockman
So hemi trucks without sunroofs are supposedly being built faster or slower? I got a hemi tradesman, no sunroof. Basic beach white.
