If you only knew...

In reality... we needed to be making solid hybrid systems before jumping into electric fully. I bet switching everything to hybrid and higher output engines with forced air induction to use electric during low end boost scenarios to save gas would've been leaps and bounds better for our carbon footprints and provide better 0-60 mph times for higher end vehicles. Audi has been doing Lemans for the past couple years with a diesel hybrid and that thing kicks butt. Car is a 3.7 liter V6 , single turbo 540 hp 850 tq.


ON TOPIC: unsure of where my truck is, maybe I'll see it on the news having a report about Mark dodge clogging the south eastern railway with trucks lol.

When I was trying to decide whether to get a chassis cab or not, I spec'd out an SLT with that interior. Wasn't avail on the 2021's BH trucks while using Ram's build site. Nice to see it's avail interior option on the 2022's! Almost a "special" interior option, to me at least.

Got her home last night and did a quick detail. Truck is awesome and I am very happy with it. My only complaint is the passenger side mirror, no matter how I adjust it the view always looks off.

Other than that it's perfect so far. Absolutely love the Laramie grill, when wiping with a microfiber your fingers slide right in-between the grill openings. This makes cleaning it quick and easy.

My dealer was great. They honored my original POC and I ended up with 1750 off invoice, not the best deal but for buying local im happy.

There was one small chip on the grill but no biggie. They gave me a paint pen and I'll touch it up. I expect many more chips so having touch up paint will come in handy.

I didn't realize I ordered a trailer camera but I'm glad I have it. One we get our toy hauler this will come in handy. Here are some pics.

What's the part number for the single rear trailer camera and cable and an approximate price? I would hope that there is a magnetic mount included for slapping it on the rear of a dump trailer or equipment trailer.

The true Definition of D status....

Nobody knows anything... this code means your truck is entered into the lottery drawing unless you order a Hemi without sunroof.. The only thing known is D1 is your next step and it could me 1 day to 4 months in this position... If your truck possibly goes D1 you should build within 30 days and be delivered within 60 if you are fortunate enough to hold D1 position... lol

I am glad to see the orders being filled for the trucks that ordered months ago.. So I have noticed orders since the end of September have had almost zero movement in status after the 179,000 vins.. So I checked auto trader this morning for 3500 trucks.. Lots of vehicles in transit and on the lots with vins past 180,000 so this tells me they are building inventory over sold orders.. I called on a few of these and they are available for purchase. I understand they have to keep inventory going out to dealers. I did also verify these trucks have ttpms and sunroofs...

What about electric?

I don know what the’re working on regarding electric vehicles. I think you would know more.
I don’t know my feelings about electric either. I do know that before they come out they better have the infrastructure to provide it. Brake regeneration not withstanding.
I know that for me personally I wouldn’t like waiting any long period of time for the vehicle to charge. And I use my truck to get me deep into the wilds where they’re not gonna have services. Don’t think wind or solar are efficient enough and although batteries have come a long way there’s a lot more that probably should be done.
All that and more, I love my oil burning smelly diesel!

Here is the main part number. It comes with a coax cable that plugs into bumper. The camera mount attaches with screws. Text me at 318 393 0629 and I'll send you more pics.

I would have taken a real close look at Olive when I ordered last week but noticed it wasn’t an option, good for you that is one of the best looking trucks I’ve seen

The olive has been discontinued for 2022. I was lucky enough to snag one of the last ones
