2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

At 70 likes on one post, LEGEND…..Will you be my 4th friend? :)
Wow Grumpy, you are so needy.
You do understand we take you for your word. As one of the 3 friends, (one is his mom and the other friend is his dad and then me who has exceptionally low standards).
GRUMPY OLD FART. I take that to mean you’re old, GRUMPY and you like farting a lot. Based on what my daughters and wife keep telling me, for some ridiculous reason, they don’t enjoy my farts. I think there are others as well that don’t enjoy OPF’s. (Other People’s Farts). Actually I’m one of them. Those qualities don’t entice many friends.
Speaking for others here, Brv10 has semi good taste and a good brain. What pray tell makes you think he has low standards like me and would like to be the 4th?
@brv10 Before you ask about the Semi in the above statement. That comes from not ordering the Cummins. A connoisseur would get the Cummins of course.

I think what @Jimmy07 said in a previous post was that if you got the digital review camera you get the 12 pin trailer camera wiring on the truck side.
Sort of: if you get the digital rear view mirror, it comes prepped with the tow mode camera port on the driver side of the license plate.
If you have regular truck surround view, it comes prepped with the 12-pin trailer connector.

What if you have both?

I don know what their working on regarding electric vehicles. I think you would know more.
I don’t know my feelings about electric either. I do know that before they come out they better have the infrastructure to provide it. Brake regeneration not withstanding.
I know that for me personally I wouldn’t like waiting any long period of time for the vehicle to charge. And I use my truck to get me deep into the wilds where they’re not gonna have services. Don’t think wind or solar are efficient enough and although batteries have come a long way there’s a lot more that probably should be done.
All that and more, I love my oil burning smelly diesel!
And dont forget (1) the Environmental Impact of the Battery Manufacturing Process (Material Mining and Hazmat Processes) and (2) the cost of Removal and Replacement of Batteries and (3) the Hazmat issues with Batteries removed from Service and (4) the Environmental Cost of generating the Electricity to Charge Batteries and (5) the need for additional Power Generation (Coal, Oil, Hydro, NUCLEAR, etc - Solar and Wind are both non-constant and not terribly efficient, especially to transmit over distances to users) and systems are already stretched to capacity in many areas).

Yeah! All that too! Say no to electrical vehicles! And don’t get me started! I believe in Nuclear energy overall. It’s efficient effective and a lot smaller footprint. At least here in the good ol USA we seem to know how not only to harness the power we know how to build the infrastructure as to not have the failures. 3 mile island doesn’t come to mind and it’s only one place. San Onofrey Nuclear generation plant hasn’t failed yet and is in Kalifornia so that’s USA adjacent. Doesn’t count.

My truck is at Port Allen as of today, we'll see how long it takes to get to MD. She's two days ahead of schedule.

Status: KZT
So that would make mine in Port Allen also. But for sure though that would be KZ U – second rail arrival. So still on the train and not logged into the port yet? But would for sure take mine being there. As it should have been there the first of the week. Come on Mark Dodge call and let me know the info.

Wow! Many of us ordered and get to sit in D land for way more then a month and we hope and pray we get to D1. I’ve been in D since October 18. I plan on being in D land for another month at least and then traveling through D1 back to D for another month and then in several more months I’ll get the notice my truck has been recalled because it’s diesel and diesel is being banned for people like me and I’ll have to get a Prius or something.

Mine's been there since the 12th, haven't heard from MD yet so I assume it's still at Port Allen.
Going to take a while to ship over a 1000+ trucks. As its not like they can move 100's per day. Plus with only 5 drivers for the whole state. Thats less then 40 trucks per day. As most will only have 3 per load. 2 loads per day max. May be a long cold ride for that last 100 miles.

Got got the call. My truck is at MD. Now I just have to get home. Is anyone set up to ship from MD to the northeast? If so let me know who your using maybe I can get on the same truck.
If not I guess a with fly and drive the week after thanksgiving
Mine is supposed to be leaving MD on Tuesday, arriving in NJ next Saturday. Call Aaron at MD and see if this guy has room. Have me a great deal ($1000) and maybe it could go lower if you get on it to

It's crazy to me the lack of drivers in the area to handle the volume. I could see 5 drivers just for ram but you'd figure they'd contract out more people to do it. Tell Aaron bring the acceptance inspectors and paperwork to the rail yard and we'll make this go faster... haha
