Black Series HQ-19 Caravan
We ordered early Fall 2020, and finally took possession in June this year. Due to the crazy world/RV market/greed the $$$ has presently risen almost 25%! It's nuts, and I'd have a hard time digesting the current $$$, but the whole RV market has exploded... We were set on an Airstream, but wound up here due to cost and features. Love the Airstream features and build, but wanted something we could take more places without damaging. I'm just a little over even with investment in my Tradesman; its been an awesome combo in use so far, and made sense at the time...Sweet camper. I just looked them up and it costs twice as much as I paid for my HD ram lol
It is, and it isn't. Black Series USA has been making "unannounced" changes to their products for the last year, to the point that consumers like myself who ordered are/were getting very different features on delivery. One of their major dealers dropped them this summer, due to frustration with quality and lack of communication on changes (and warranty re-imbursement). My unit has the previous black / grey interior, and name brand (Dometic) components vs. mostly chinese (tankless water and general heater). Most significantly, they decided to change the design, lowering the box on the chassis; this improved headroom inside, but reduced ground clearance. My biased opinion: they added American bling while reducing the real off-roading / boondocking features and quality of the original Aussie design.@Zmanyprojects ... isn't that the same RV Big Truck Big RV reviewed?

You should go with something better like fluid film or corrosion free, krown is awful and turns and rubber soft i found out the hard way after having to change every bushing and door seal on my old truck only had it sprayed 2 times 3 years ago when the “changed their formula to not hurt rubber” thats a direct quote from themYesterday I got a call from a buddy to move a dead Chevy Tahoe SUV. I've got slightly over 400 miles now on it. The miles are piling up, it's only 22 days old and already over 400, not do they grow up fast. In all seriousness, I'm trying not to drive any more than I must before December 16th when it goes to Krown in Zellienople Pa for the rust proofing treatment. I want the frame and other parts under there as clean as possible.![]()

So they changed the formula and solved the rubber issue? You should go with something better like fluid film or corrosion free, krown is awful and turns and rubber soft i found out the hard way after having to change every bushing and door seal on my old truck only had it sprayed 2 times 3 years ago when the “changed their formula to not hurt rubber” thats a direct quote from them
They say they did but they did not as my rubbers were finished after 2 years of the “new formula”So they changed the formula and solved the rubber issue?
