2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

2 years ago Amazon was great but Not recently - may not be all their fault with shipping the way it is - but 2 day shipping from east coast to Louisiana with tracking ends up lost after receipt in Seattle and they have to send replacement. Or delivered to wrong address with photo of wrong door or sched delivery Friday shows up following Thursday. And I have had multiple similar problems this year.
Yep. Shipping companies are feeling the crunch with what's going on and the time of year doesn't help. Two packages I ordered for my motorcycle were lost in transit a few days ago. They made up for it with replacements that arrived within two days of the reorder, but still...

they swing open alright, but they don't get built any sooner
Actually by % or orders built, Longhorns seem to do best, then Power Wagons, then Limiteds. - More total Laramies built but as of last Saturday nearly all of Longhorn Orders in May-July order group are built. This is analysis of May-July orders tracked on Spreadsheet as of as of 11/13/2021

Overall (All Trims) - 348 Orders; 243 Total Built = 70% of May-July Orders are Built

Longhorns - 33 Ordered out of 348 Orders; 31 Longhorns Built out or 243 Total Built = 13% of Build; or 94% of Longhorn Orders are Built
Limiteds - 70 Ordered out of 348 Orders; 57 Limiteds Built out of 243 Total Built = 24% of Build; or 81% of Limited Orders are Built
Laramies - 145 Ordered out of 348 Orders; 86 Laramies Built out of 243 Total Built = 35% of Build; or 59% of Laramie Orders are Built
Big Horns - 57 Ordered out of 348 Orders; 34 Big Horns Built out of 243 Total Built = 14% of Build; or 60% of Big Horn Orders are Built
Power Wagons - 13 Ordered out of 348 Orders; 12 Power Wagons Built out of 243 Total Built = 5% of Build; or 92% of Power Wagon Orders are Built
Tradesmans - 27 Ordered out of 348 Orders; 21 Tradesmans Built out of 243 Total Built = 9% of Build; or 78% of Tradesman Orders are Built

Conclusions: 243 or 70% of 348 Orders May-July are Built; More Laramies built by count (86), but larger % of Longhorns and Power Wagons as >90% of Orders Built

All Longhorns but 2 have been built and all Power Wagons but 1 have been built (glad I ordered a Longhorn)

This man needs his truck before he loses it! :)

My truck is scheduled to be at the railyard 11/20 at 4:07 am. my salesman said the last couple loads they've received at the dealership landed at the railyard the same day. Crossing my fingers to have it picked up Saturday night!
What yard/dealer?

Wife was gone to TX visiting daughter and I was bored and cant get any info on weekends except from @OfficerDirtySanchez spreadsheet - why not? The rest of info breakdowns by engine etc were posted on https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?threads/2022-hd-crowdsourced-vin-order-tracking.6189/page-68 in case anyone cares

Most interesting surprise in my mind was
49% 2500
27% 3500 SRW
22% 3500 DRW

Hold out for what you want. Don't compromise...too much money to compromise. IMO.
I'm trying. Spoke to RAM chat about some of this and they said that web devs are actually trying to get 2500/3500 builds more up to date that they reflect a little closer to what dealers are having access to order for the customers. They said they have received many complaints from both buyers and dealers. Dealers are complaining b/c they tell the customer to bring in a build print from ramtrucks and the builds are vastly different from what can be ordered and its becoming an issue because many customers like us are not willing to compromise because of the cost so it becomes a wash for the dealers. So hopefully in the coming day/weeks/months this gets updated.

Theres 7 vins between our trucks. I'm 7 in front of yours. Yous was build before mine. Shipped before mine. And hope you get yours before me. As I'm good with picking mine up first week of Dec. But if it was to show up say Sat at the dealers lot. I guess I would have to drive to Mark Dodge Monday go get it. LOL But not going to happen, be after Turkey day for me.

Latest is my 11/6 3:39 AM train holding in Rail Yard at Livonia - Estimated to Port Allen tomorrow 11/17.
Hope it makes it but there seem to be a lot of trains in que to unload this week.
Wondering how many they can unload in a day and what other vehicles are competing for their manpower.
From Port Allen, yours goes West, Mine goes East to New Orleans. Lots more going your way - so easier to get a full truckload to Mark Dodge
Best, Ed

Yeah, the site has always sucked, just not this bad. With all the changes to product line, nothing is lining up. Due to the unavailability of certain options/packages on certain trims as of recent, Ram site and Stellantis are not jiving with one another. It appears you want a Laramie w/ Night ED, and it's not currently available. I haven't check the Ram build your own site in some time, but I assume you can still build one with NE. And unfortunately that's not available to order. If you can hold out for what you want, then cool. OR you might have to do what others have done and move up to a Limited...

Glad Ramchat narrowed mine down within a 2 week window. Friday 11/19 to Friday 12/3 Just betting its not the 19th. AS not sure its off the train yet. Plus figure it will wait around until 11-29 or 30th for the last ride.
Vin 3C63RRHL0NG163053 Needs to get off the trail and on the truck. I need to see if it will fit my Butt! No telling when it will get away from Port Allen.

I got told from ram chat 9-12 weeks. I think all answers and how long you wait is all random. Today is week 8 for me and no movement yet
Well.....there goes my hope that Santa rolls up in a Cummins this year. I was gonna leave some DEF out w/ the cookies

Page one of this thread, there’s a Google doc created by one of our members. It’s a public source document that contains the order info for members trucks who’ve submitted said info.

Whats everyone's experience with the msrp going up on a truck you ordered, did the dealer eat it or did you? Ordered my 22 3500 and should be in in a few weeks but the msrp when up a decent amount. Do you think the dealer will eat it or try to pass it on to me? Waiting for a email back from my salesman now about this.
