2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

When did you finalize your deal? Curious how long it takes from purchase to getting on transport.
They couldn't set it up until the wire cleared their bank, once that was done then they set up transport. It sounds like it moves quickly once financial end is taken care of and you bid a "reasonable" amount for shipping. I tried to get a better rate but it didn't get picked up so I upped the amount more than I likely needed to but I just want my truck at this point.

And for those wondering, I ended up at $1000 to ship from Mark Dodge to me, just over 1350 miles. My initial bid was $800 but didn't get picked up. I likely could have gotten it for $900 but like I said, I wanted it sooner than later at this point and it felt worth the extra $100 to not have to wait as long

Did those bids come through them? I sourced my own and can't seem to get better than $1400 for a 1400 mile trip from Mark Dodge to NJ.

Is that color MSM?

As far as the paperwork, I dealt with Marsh and the process couldn't have been anymore painless!! I think I was on a zoom call for about 8min or so, esigned all of the docs and literally had it all said & done within 20-25min tops. They got me a great rate, took a wire for my down payment and it was all taken care of. My truck gets on a transporter tomorrow and should have it on Thursday
Yes that is MSM, and that sounds awesome. I got all the edocs signed and wired my down payment over from my bank with like 2 minutes to spare in the business day. As soon as the wire clears someone is supposed to contact me about setting up a transport to KY. I am racing the clock hoping to have it by Thanksgiving. I worked with Dale in the finance office and have to agree it was very easy. Found a rate I am happy with (even better than he first stated over the phone). He did offer an extended warranty which I declined. No other attempts to try and sell me anything or hidden fees. Original quoted price from 5 months ago was what I paid. I can’t say enough good things about Mark Dodge.

I asked Aaron if it was too late to keep the dealer plaque/sticker off when I got the pictures. He said they just put a small sticker on the back window and if it was already on he would go peel it off himself. Awesome staff every step of the way.

Yup same here, my DLR is in caldwell. Dennis Dillon?
One in the same. Should be arriving in SLC Wednesday if UPs schedule doesn't fall down. So ours maybe won't be on the same truck if yours is already to go.??

After speaking with Aaron he clarified the process a bit more for me, basically they have a general range of what the fees are and he asked what I felt comfy paying, then they log into a system and say we have a truck that is located a X and needs to be delivered at Y and this is what we are willing to pay. If someone is going that route or finds the rate to be reasonable for the trip they accept it and make arrangements.

If you haven't already, I'd check and see what kind of price MD can get for you

Well Ram Chat told me this morning that my truck was at the dealership and I called the dealership and it wasn’t there! Called back and they said it was in route to the dealership and said the dealership will know more. I told them the system hasn’t updated since 11/1 so I will go ask the tree and it will know just as much as the dealership does. Truck shipped out of Mexico on 9/18 Baltimore on 10/18 unloaded and inspected for shipping to dealership. Still in Baltimore or lost.

Only problem is I cant find a Rail Yard in Livonia - appears to be single track straight through less than 30 miles to Port Allen - so I am guessing its in Port Allen just not logged in yet

There’s a small rail yard just south of Livonia that runs north/south. Port Allen is very close.

Hello all. I ordered a 2500 Big Horn Crew Cab Sport Package w/ Alpine stereo, LED lights, and Bed utility on 11/05. Got a VIN issued on 11/08. Spoke w/ Dealer and RAM chat and was told there are no current hold ups. Asked AGAIN because of the 4 month (+) waiting periods I heard of and RAM chat stated the current timeline for new orders to dealers (minus low volume colors) is 7-9 weeks. Here's to hoping to see my truck before the snow thaws

Yesterday was my 3 month waitaversary so today I checked in with my dealer to see what he had to say. Last week I received an email from Jeff at Ram saying I was D1 with a tentative build date week of 11/22. My dealer said still D status. So tonight I checked with Ramchat and Brandi said the same as Jeff. I wonder if my dealer actually checked. I’ll take the two out three and go with D1
I've seen the same thing. 19th is my 3 month, with est. shipping 12-04, but today I heard I'm back to D.

It can take awhile. Good thing is everything has been going smoothly lately. No shut downs planned and they have been hammering out the steel. Prop up your feet and enjoy the show. Post your build sheet when it arrives!

Did you finance through Mark Dodge? If so do you mind sharing what interest rate you got? My truck should be there any day so I’ll be going through that with them soon. Thanks for any info!

I got told from ram chat 9-12 weeks. I think all answers and how long you wait is all random. Today is week 8 for me and no movement yet
