Just took delivery on my '21 2500 Cummins last week. 400 miles on odometer. This is my 3rd Dodge/RAM Cummins. I was hoping the vibration I feel while stopped at lights, etc. would smooth out. Sometimes it's more noticeable than others. If I shift to neutral, don't feel it. Tried turning off A/C. Still feel it. Has anyone had this experience and had it diagnosed? As much as I hate to do it, I've decided it's noticeable enough to take it in. Otherwise, the truck rides and drives great. Decent mpg, too. Already at 18 mpg average including one trip with heavy load in the bed.

Id say leave it longer for a while with such a new truck the rubber exhaust hangers are still stiff thats typically whats causes the vibration since they dont run a flex pipe on the exhaust

Yeah, I was thinking about letting it go until first service. Seems to drive so well, otherwise. Thanks for identifying a possible cause.

It's definitely still there at 11k miles. Actually, my truck is in for service today and I didn't bring it up. I'll give him a call now.

mine has done that off and on since I bought it. 40k miles later it's still running.

My service guy said he’d have to keep the truck a day or two to check it out. (Backed up in engine/drive train service). I need my truck so maybe next time.

Hello to all

New to this forum ,

any updates on this vibration at idle.

I have a 2024 2500 that vibrates at idles as if a bad motor mount, truck only has 8K miles

thanks

I had a 23 2500 diesel, bought it used with 30000 miles, I notices a vibration on the test drive, They said they would fix it. The ouput seal on the tranfer case was puking fluid, they replaced the seal, Said there wasn't anything wrong with it. So after 3 months and multiple trips to the dealer, I sold it back to them, Fast forward to today, Went to KC Mo and bought a new 24 2500 longbed diesel. Pulled my suburban back on my car trailer. This one vibrates worse then the 23. I can;t imagine Ram is selling these trucks knowing they Vibrate, I had a new 14, No vibration, and a used 10 with 200000. Both were smooth as Glass. Any help would be aawesome, I'm thinking about buying a GMC .

Thanks
