Trying to get a definitive answer from someone with personal knowledge, does the 2500 limited slip have clutches, or is it a gear type? When I bought the truck the literature sounded pretty clear that the 2500s got a gear type and the 3500s got a clutch type. I haven't taken my diff cover off yet. Also, haven't seen any lockers or other aftermarket stuff yet, has anyone else?

Everything 2019 and later will have a clutch type limited slip except for the power wagon, which still has the helical style lsd with e-locker.

The 2500 Anti spin works great i can spin both rears on dry pavement no issues

On equal traction surfaces yeah its fine, it's when one is on ice and the other is on pavement that it becomes useless
Not im my experience even when plowing i usually only use 2wd because it works great one will slip a tiny bit and the other side grabs

Yeah I was hoping there was something like the Detroit trutrac offered but I haven’t seen one yet. I put one in my 1500 and loved it

I was backing up my driveway with one tire in the grass and I just spun and tore up my grass so pretty useless

Anyone seen a locker available for the front diff of a 2019-newer? ARB says no, that the newer axle is different. I think the spline count has changed, but can't find any info.

Hey @Zuber I’m not sure what you’ve found this year, but I’m searching for the same. Haven’t found anything solid, but reached out to AmericanTrucks.com and they confirmed this ARB will work for a 2022 hemi, 4:10.

In my experience, the stock LSD takes a couple revolutions of the tire and some wheel speed to get the LSD to grab. But, once it does, it really seems to grab pretty well. I've been able to climb rocks that lift a rear tire off the ground with it. It's not a locker... but it's better than I expected in that regard. I do agree with above comments in that it will spin 1 tire for a bit before it grabs.

Coming from a Ford with a selectable rear locker, I have been impressed with the Rams lsd, but really would like to upgrade to a full selectable locker at some point. It's one of few things I do miss that the super duty had. Hopefully the aftermarket steps up with some options.

Arb front locker will work. They told me the same thing but I bought and installed it anyway on my 2019 3500. It’s really amazing how these guys don’t know such simple things.
