2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I finally got an email from RAM.... Priority! Respect my authorita! :D

This is a courtesy email update regarding your Ram 2500 factory order status.

Good news! I presently show your order has been built and is presently awaiting a shipping schedule from the next available carrier to begin the shipping process.

I am presently working directly with our factory resources and logistics teams to both ensure your order is prioritized for delivery as well as to gather an estimated delivery window to share further with you. I hope to have further news and updates to provide as they become available.

If you have any outstanding questions or order update inquiries, we do encourage you to reach out to your ordering dealership for the fastest response possible. Additional email communications provided to this email are un-monitored and will be responded to once additional updates are available to share.

Thank you for your loyalty and we’re proud to have you as a member of the Ram Truck Family!

Sincerely,

Jeff

Tried logging into the Ram site for my garage. It wouldn't let me in said incorrect password. When I tried to reset the password, I hit the submit button and nothing happened. I had even gotten the email on my phone with a new number for password. Any words of advice?

I placed a order for a 22 3500 tradesmen crew cab 6.7 on 9/17 and still stuck at d1 for weeks now. No window sticker or build sheet or anything. Ive been checking the order status spreadsheet and how come it seams like some of the fancier trucks are getting built faster then the cheaper ones? I thought this was a options/ chip shortage?

I ordered a Laramie the day before you and I am still in D so just be thankful you are D1

Even though the spreadsheet is not showing any status/build dates for my truck I got confirmation today from RamChat that my 3500 SRW Mega Cab Laramie has been built and is pending instillation of additional equipment. I am guessing that this is spray in bed liner and 5th wheel package. On average how long is it taking for this additional equipment step before shipping? Dealer says it shows a shipping date of 11/10 but not sure it is going to make that. Anyways, happy to see progress and that it is built!

About to order a 2022 tradesman. Salesman says 3 months. So feb/march. What is a realistic time frame? How long did yall wait?

Mine is a Limited, the salesman said 16-20 weeks. Hope he is way long, but probably not.

I was also told 12-16 weeks - many people have been much longer based on order dates long before production began 8/9/21(?) and there was a week shutdown for parts in September - BUT its only been 12 weeks (13-1) since Production started and they seem to be ramping up pretty well - 293 of 576 trucks currently on the tracking sheet now have Equipment Lists (a landmark generally accepted to mean they have been built). And that number has increased significantly in last 2 weeks - so many of us should see trucks within 16 weeks of Start of Production.

Availability / transportation of parts as well as Transportation of completed vehicles to Dealers have caused delays and may continue to create problems beyond any control, especially as we get into the Holiday Shopping period. BUT, ASSUMING no more parts shortages or shipping issues (and thats a BIG ASSUMPTION), I think 12-16 weeks is reasonable - mine is in transit and should hopefully make 11 weeks and a day from order to delivery.

Having rationalized all that, I would note that there are still too many (somewhere around 110-120) trucks on the spreadsheet that were ordered prior to August Start of Production that inexplicably do NOT have Equipment Lists while more recent orders have been delivered.

Welcome to the waiting room! Depending on how you do the math I started my wait in February. Just sit back and relax. This is a good group of people to keep you company while you, and I, wait.

On 10/27 I finally pulled the trigger for a 2500 Limited, (CC, SRW, 6.4L gas). Worked with Sandi to put together the package. She was great to work with, and thanks to all those who suggested working with Mark Dodge. She did tell me that the estimated ship date on the POC of 11/25 should be the expected starting date of the build, with current expectations of 20 weeks from order for delivery (estimating high so I can be pleasantly surprised if it comes in sooner). So in D1 status for now.

Embracing the hurry up and wait.

All those early trucks on there is sad, I have gotten to know that list pretty well!

Also reference some of the dealers the users here have been working with if you haven’t already. I almost put an order in for a truck at a local cause I just didn’t know other dealers did such great discounts. Never ordered a car before. The ram forums and members saved me bookoo $$. Thanks to them. Now I sit here and enjoy all of everyone’s misery as I sit quietly in my own.

Every 5 minutes.

So every 6 minutes is OK then. Cool.

I couldn't help myself, I just checked.

Friday they told me
Thank you so much for holding. I am showing all of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process very soon.
Today they told me
It's in the scheduling phase, as soon as all the parts are received it will be scheduled.

Sounds like a step backwards to me.
