2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I see posts of guys getting their trucks in 2 months, and most others waiting 6 or more...having just ordered a week ago...I figure it will be spring....so do I order my bed cover now, or wait? do I research a ceramic coat now or wait? And other accessories, oh, the drama of it all... :D

I would say wait. I say this beca I don’t practice what I preach. I already ordered $2660 worth of bumpers I will have to store. The deal was too good to pass up. I’m trying to hold off on buying wheels and tires and have so far been successful but I know that’ll change about when I think I’m a month away. I also will be ordering lights from Ridged Industries and a winch probably on that Black Friday thing folks keep telling me about.
I’m assuming after I get everything assembled Ram will cancel my order.

Depends on what you think double digit inflation and the supply chain will look like in 6 months.

Actually a good point you make but I had to weigh the cost of having more stuff at my place or my business that I will have to deal with over the 45% off of the overpriced bumpers I wanted.
I’m hoping that regarding our ridiculous inflation I think even the idiots running our country will have no choice but to deal with it although right now I share your doubts.

I'm one of those 68 ordered in July. Truck has been built since 10/8 waiting on a train. I know plenty folks are in the long wait just for theirs to be built, but also crazy trucks are built, passed inspection and have stickers waiting for them to be shipped. I also get the issues with shipping, but then there are those that ordered well after me/us that not only have had theirs built, but also have them in the driveway... :(
My truck is with yours also. Ordered 7-9 and Built 9-14 and sitting in storage since then. Yours doesn’t happen to be going to Moses lake? It seems none of the orders going that way have been delivered Or even on a train.

I spoke with a rep at Ramcares on the 4th. He indicated there was an update on my truck on 11/2 and it should be in the build phase. Using different browsers (deleted the cache), I am still not seeing a build sheet. Even the Ram rep kept coming up with an invalid VIN on mine (we located it using the VON). Would someone who can access their build sheets be willing to check my VIN # to see if they can see anything? Curious if I received Ramshat or if there is validity to movement. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide. :)

No, heading to Port Allen then Lake Charles, La. Not too far...

Well UP railroad has put a vaccine mandate to go in on December 23. If a small percentage of employees don’t get it things will be become very messed up in the supply chain and make what you see now look good.

what if one of us could get some contact info for a FCA rep? And we could all message directly? Seems like a hundred messages or so from this forum of customers waiting for trucks might get some attention.
I’m 100% game for that. I keep getting different types of info. Dealer says it’s in Lordstown, ram chat says it’s in Port Altamira, Mexico. Then brv says it’s still waiting on a rail car. I believe brv the most

I'll gonna contact Sandi from Mark Dodge directly on Monday to see what can be done. I'm sure guys on here have made some sort of contact with someone in FCA regarding their delays. I'll check into it.

When she reaches out to Stellantis, it takes about a week to hear back. Hopefully she can get answers for you. I didn’t get any info back on my truck’s delays, but did get a 11/29 build date. At least it’s a start.

I told my dealer if the truck ever gets here; no harsh chemicals or rough pads, I want my truck licked clean, that’s right, licked clean by high school girls and their tongues and I want a music video made at the same time using White Snake music. Is that asking too much?
Sure you're joking but it still sounds super creepy. Sure you didn't order a Ram van instead?

They sell many different brands of cars and trucks all over the world. I don’t think they’ll give a rats ass. Especially since Stellantis has had the company for a bit over 6 months and they’re a Dutch company. Many European people feel Americans are spoiled and view us with disdain. Actually very sad. Just my opinion so don’t hate me for it but when I go to Europe and other places outside our awesome country it’s what I see.

I was ok with being patient with this process but now it’s becoming so disappointing the excitement has completely worn off. I feel like the power of this forum may get some answers if we could some contact info. We have quite a few members looking for info that adds up to a decent amount of $$

I feel ya. I laid off this thread for some time just due to me knowing I need to wait my turn and bide my time. Was super excited my truck is built, but now it's sitting in some lot or who knows where collecting grit and grime. But now this is trying my patience. And yes, lots of money out there.

Totally understand and I know we are just a small number but it’s worth a try. Nothing to lose at this point.

They do some crazy amount of billions per quarter. I feel your pain but after so much frustration and reading and after owning more than a quarter million dollars of Chrysler vehicles in my life. They don’t care.
Just look at some of the photos of the trucks that are posted and the happy folks here and let that console

Yep. Even that being so, I feel Sandi will do her due diligence to help resolve it. Not trying to escalate that high up the food chain. Just need a local or regional rep to do their job...that might be asking too much as well. Anyhoo, yeah, traveling overseas is a trip, pun intended. Even in third world countries they hate "US". Either you're spoiled and noses are turned up at you or you're looked up at but with distain and or you're a target. Haha!

Sorry Grumpy Old Fart but you gotta agree with our buddy Myfast. Maybe you already have the Ram van.

But when the ****e hits the fan in those same countries us Americans are the first to open our wallets and hearts. We will actually send our brothers and sisters to bleed for them. I kinda wish we would stop that BS and I wonder if we did what would they think about us then?
