I should have said my last ordered vehicle was 81, you could order any combo of anything back then, 82 Mustang GT
If I remember correctly my last vehicle I ordered to my taste was a 2003 Ram 3500 quad cab dually in black. Man she was sexy…

With how much inventory MD moves, I’m guessing they have some pull on when trucks get loaded.
Possibly. That’s kind of what I’m hoping, simply for the fact that I don’t want to be out that much extra money. If it was just a matter of waiting for another week or two with no cash lost on my end, I’d never complain.

The first Laramie they ordered me was here in a couple months , too bad alot of the options were wrong. Thanks woodgrove chrysler. The current order I have been waiting for was ordered July 2nd, 3500 SRW LARAMIE , Loaded. They told me that the items slowing down my order are
Night edition
Mega Cab
Sunroof
Floor liners....
(Pic is of the first arrival)
Currently looking into placing and order out of the states to see the difference in pricing and if it can be done, call me Sandi Lol
Pretty sure you can’t order a US truck without a us address and/or license otherwise I’m sure lots of folks would do it. I could be wrong though…

You can always try calling your salesman - theoretically it may be possible - or not - he will have to call regional rep and it may take a week to get back unless answer is Heck No.

Haha... thank you. I'm off work tomorrow, so I'll get pictures in daylight. I got home this evening at 7pm and got the bed toolbox mounted and got the rear bed step on.

I have the hood protector to get on and tossed a text to my tint guy so I can hopefully get tint this next week.

Soon I'll get it into the shop and do a ceramic coat on it.

Yeah when I get mine I’m gonna immediately do the same. I really liked the small picture of your truck. Now I’m super jazzed I got the patriot blue. Was a bit hesitant at first.

I’m thinking of not having the dealership wash my truck when it comes in so I can have it professionally detailed but I’m worried that all the dirt and grime will hide any imperfections in the paint. Are you guys having the dealer wash your trucks during PDI or just taking it as is?

I’m going to ask they leave all the plastic inside alone but let them do a wash so I can inspect it. Any good detailer is going to be able to 1 or 2 step paint correction. Then I’ll have them ceramic it unless I find the time to do it myself

If you do let them wash it, tell them to use fresh wash water, soap, towels. Also tell them no waxes, sealants, treatments etc on the body, wheels and tires.

They typically just use the same nasty wash water and towels for multiple cleanings. Dealers also like to use ****ty petroleum based tire dressing and crappy detail sprays.

I’ve asked that they do no washing and leave all of the interior plastic. I might have them do a light wash, but I don’t know how much I’ll be able to see in a zoom meeting anyway.

I told them they cant touch the paint but i do want them to foam it and powerwash it. and airdry only. I dont want them to add any microscratches to it
as much as I want to make sure I find all the imperfections, I am gonna take my chances that I can find them still.

Nice! I already told my dealer to re mount my tires with the OWL facing inside before I take delivery…
If you live in an area serviced by Discount Tires buy the extended warranty for the factory tires ( around $35/tire) Unlimited rotating, balancing and mine will remount for free if I have the warranty. Also the warranty usually saves me $200 to $300 when I buy a new set so worth the investment.

For the interior i told them to take off plastic as long as they leave the screen protectors. There isnt much they can hurt on the interior

my salesman should know how picky I am by now that he wont let those children mess my truck up.

Discount does rotation and balance without buying certificates. They are for road hazard coverage.

Could a truck be in the process of being built without a build sheet or sticker posted?

I ordered back in July and had the vin and von the same day I ordered my truck.

Vin- 3C6UR5DJ3NG136821

Von- 50176134

What dealer did you order from ? Were you happy with the pricing and sales ?
Hey man, can you post some pictures of your rig? Not the one you posted. Some rom the sides so we can see a profile shot. That’s a great looking rig and it’s the same color I ordered and I’d like to see it so I can suffer more.

I see posts of guys getting their trucks in 2 months, and most others waiting 6 or more...having just ordered a week ago...I figure it will be spring....so do I order my bed cover now, or wait? do I research a ceramic coat now or wait? And other accessories, oh, the drama of it all... :D

Howdy Folks, I'm new here. So many posts it's hard to follow at times.

I ordered my Ram Oct. 29th. Touched base with dealer yesterday and he said it was 'in the last phase before production.' Next time I'll ask for a build code.

I have a VON but no VIN yet that I know of.

Could someone please provide methods to track other than contacting dealer? I seem to remember a phone number to call, not sure what that is, is there any other tracking method?

First new truck in 30 years, I might be a bit excited. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Grizz
I ordered my truck the same day.
