Outside White Lettering on the tires. I like it as much as I dont like it. Its just another chance for a scratch on the new wheels in my mind.Ok, what are you guys talking about? OWL, what owl?![]()
Yeah but your not so cool.Motel 6 has a special right now on the honeymoon “suite”.
I should have said my last ordered vehicle was 81, you could order any combo of anything back then, 82 Mustang GTSame here. I've never ordered a vehicle specifically to meet my desires. This is my vehicular opus.

I've always walked into a dealership, looked at the colors, options and sticker prices and picked one I thought I wanted. Then would negotiate that one. I've never had a top trim line before.I should have said my last ordered vehicle was 81, you could order any combo of anything back then, 82 Mustang GT
Welcome to the misery thread.New order last week Laramie 3500 MC HO. Bummed they aren’t doing night edition anymore, but stoked to have ordered and begin the waiting process. Full head of hair for now, we’ll see how long it lasts.

Naw, the tone is changing. They are moving much faster. I would just like to see the May orders filled so the guilt wasn't hitting me.Welcome to the misery thread.
the mopar or FCA website but don’t expect to see anything for at least 6 weeks. Some dealers seem helpful to these folks on this forum and some seem to not care. I wouldn’t hold too much faith in them as they may either not care or are too busy to deal with all the folks that are asking them. I decided not to bother my awesome dealer for a month and I ordered 10/15. I didn’t get a vin for a week. My dealer suggested that I shouldn’t expect my truck (Limited 3500 HO CC Lb 4x4) for 5 months. You will probably be in D status for 6 weeks after vin until D1 which means parts gathered for your build.Howdy Folks, I'm new here. So many posts it's hard to follow at times.
I ordered my Ram Oct. 29th. Touched base with dealer yesterday and he said it was 'in the last phase before production.' Next time I'll ask for a build code.
I have a VON but no VIN yet that I know of.
Could someone please provide methods to track other than contacting dealer? I seem to remember a phone number to call, not sure what that is, is there any other tracking method?
First new truck in 30 years, I might be a bit excited. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Grizz
Well you definitely have top trim now! Of all the photos of everybody’s trucks yours is my favorite. I’m glad I ordered patriot blue, hopefully it looks as good as your dually.I've always walked into a dealership, looked at the colors, options and sticker prices and picked one I thought I wanted. Then would negotiate that one. I've never had a top trim line before.

I made the mistake of selling my two trucks and a guy fell asleep at the wheel and rear-ended my SRT charger at 75mph at a stop sign. I have a pair of Sketchers now, but the arch fit are nice shoes.the mopar or FCA website but don’t expect to see anything for at least 6 weeks. It seems based on the last 300 pages that your suffering will coincide with D1 which seems to continue for another 6 weeks until you start dreaming of your truck and rainbows and stuff at which time you will get a bunch of back and forth dates from the different sites and Lamechat. And let’s not forget you’ll get a build sheet that will get your hopes up. But don’t worry, Ram doesn’t care about our hopes or their accuracy. They will know you’re happy and optimistic. Once they know that, either your order will be canceled or they will keep you in lala land status for another month. After that it goes fast. Like 2 months more. At which time your dealer will probably sell your truck to someone else.
You will have your truck by new years. Of 2023.
My sage advice is have lots of patience, enjoy everyone else showing you pictures of their awesome trucks and be happy. Try not to think about you being the one showin off your truck pictures. Because by the time you see your truck this forum will be empty. See how optimistic I am? Thankfully I didn’t sell my existing truck yet.
Well then, that’s the worst thing that can happen. I’m glad you’re ok. Well I hope your OK. I'm fine, car gone. I saw it coming, flexed elbows firm grip on wheel head against seat rest. Only damage to me was inside of forearms from the airbag. The car did it's job. Guy apologized and tried to hug me, I said "go away, we're not hugging it out."Well then, that’s the worst thing that can happen. I’m glad you’re ok. Well I hope your OK. Hey Larry, sorry for asking but I’m a glutton for punishment. Can you post some more pictures of your truck? It is seriously bitchen. You could sell posters of it. Maybe feature it on the cover of a calendar. But please post some more photos.I've always walked into a dealership, looked at the colors, options and sticker prices and picked one I thought I wanted. You’re a good man. I would probably be on the run after that. Just me and my Sketchers with the arch fit.I'm fine, car gone. I saw it coming, flexed elbows firm grip on wheel head against seat rest. Oh, and that's not the end of the story, I sold the 18 2500 limited and 15 3500 Laramie for a small fortune and got more from the guy's insurance for the 17 SRT than I paid for it so my 2022 limited HO, night, fifth-wheel prep, tonneau, and clearance lamps well covered lol. The silver lining, only solutions no problems.Well then, that’s the worst thing that can happen. I’m glad you’re ok. Well I hope your OK. That story sucked man, sorry to hear that.
I’m glad it worked out for you but that story was brutal. I may have nightmares. Especially after the wait I’m not prepared to endure for my new truck.Oh, and that's not the end of the story, I sold the 18 2500 limited and 15 3500 Laramie for a small fortune and got more from the guy's insurance for the 17 SRT than I paid for it so my 2022 limited HO, night, fifth-wheel prep, tonneau, and clearance lamps well covered lol.
