2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Nothing but good news today, first my salesman emails me and tells me my truck is built but in storage. Then ram chat tells me the same, now cryptostickers updated my build sheet. Now I hope the build sheet is correct but it shows the power fold Mirrors and blind spot package on my BH 3500 with the level 1 package. Maybe it will be here by Christmas!

Well.... Look what the salesman just texted me! It exists! I am shocked, amazed, excited and sad! I am working 6 12 hour shifts 0600 to 1800 monday to Saturday for 2 more weeks. I need to try to convince my boss that I really need to get out of here early.... like freaking now! I don't know how that is going to go.

Lucky man! I guess mine wasn’t on that truck with you :( you owe us a beer!

Finally some light at the end of the tunnel..

Ram Chat this morning.....
"Thank you so much for holding. I am showing all of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process very soon."

finally a different message than the waiting for parts message.
How long ago did you order the truck?

As some of y’all know, I have 3 trucks on the spreadsheet. 2 Megacabs 3500 HO NE and 1 Megacab 2500 NE.
The 2 3500 were ordered on 8/7 and the 2500 was ordered 9/6.

The truck ordered on 9/6 is already in D1. The trucks ordered on 8/7 haven’t moved from D since day 1.
The only difference in these builds are obviously the HO engine then it’s Air ride and 5th wheel/gooseneck prep.
I’m sure HO isn’t the hold up, I’ve seen many HOs get assembled and shipped. It’s either the Air Ride or the 5th wheel/gooseneck towing prep.
Edit: Another difference is the 2500 has center console with bucket seats. The 3500s are 6 person seating.

Anyone got any information about Air Ride and 5th wheel/gooseneck prep? Is that what’s holing up our trucks?
Just thought I’d share what I gathered from my 3 orders on the spreadsheet.

I don’t have air ride, but do have tow prep. Truck is built and on its way to the dealer.

That’s good to know. Thank you.
Wonder if any air ride trucks recently were built or shipped

I ordered mid July and my truck just went to D1 about a week ago.

A few dozen pages ago there was talk about fithwheel/goosenec prep and the 50 gal tank being a delay.

My build date is scheduled for Monday, but I am not holding my breath.

Basics of my Laramie order:
3500 ho, CC LB, NE, air ride, BSM, level b tech, level b tow, 50 gal tank.

After getting a build sheet yesterday dealer called me today and said that my truck is built and released to the vendor for bed-liner and steps then will go to shipping. After 2 month of nothing and a month in D1 it been a good week. Positive thoughts to those with earlier build that haven’t moved yet.

Thanks for sharing that information, so if mine goes the same way I am looking at Jan for a build date

Has Sandi reached out to their rep yet to find out more? She reached out for mine. Took them about a week to get back to her. They said estimated date is now Nov 29 (my POC hadn’t updated since the original 8/11 ship date). Wondering if yours is in the same boat, where they have an estimate but it’s not on the sheet yet.

I’ll contact her on the 15th of this month for an update and many push a little further respectfully to have her contact someone at Ram for an explanation.
I usually have a simple question for an updated POC and leave her alone because I know how busy she is.
Her response would always be “no news and contact me in a month” with attached POCs.
Thanks for the idea, I’d like some date to look forward to even if it’s a disappointing December date lol. I’m also hopeful to get these trucks this year for tax write off purposes.

Just got a text from my salesman. After reading about all the people in the thread getting great news over the course of the last couple weeks, I thought for a moment I’d be one of the few lucky August orders to get a truck built. Then I read the text. Still in D status, and the price has gone up $1324.

Congratulations to you. I’m not even mad, you ordered well before me so they used the parts correctly lol (this time only)
