2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I feel like imma be in KZ-LD forever lol
Funny thing is my truck went KZLD 10/13, but days later I started getting shipping dates. Time between 7/13 - 10/13 went fast and 10/13-11/4 feels like years because I knew my truck was built and shipping. I swear the last 3 weeks time has been like swimming in Molasses with a side of torture. I guess I should be happy because time moves so damn fast as you get older, I mean years go by and it feels like a month, but now it's like a 5th grade summer, haha.

Ditto that!!!! It has now been 5 months since ordered. Shipping dates have also been all over the place and now has a dealer ETA 11/7-11/11. This thing has been on the rails since Oct 14th! A dam month..UGH!!! It’s like the child waiting for Christmas day looking at all the presents under the tree and trying to snoop and getting caught then having to wait and wait. But I tell ya’ll, knowing I will most definitely be getting this thing this next week/weekend, this week has been ABSOLUTELY the hardest! I feel your pain....

I beg to differ there.
It isn't maxed out if it doesn't have the HO/Aisan and Air Suspension.
That's like comparing an Orange to a Tangerine.
Same brakes, at least on last gen. I have a '17, and a Customer a '16. Same stuff. And not to nitpick, but it's Aisin.

Anyone know when dealerships have to start honoring Employee Pricing? I found a truck in Dallas (my order has seen no movement in months) and was going to fly down to get it. Dealership said they will not accept employee pricing or any other discount and I would have to pay full sticker plus fees. This corona BS needs to end already.
My understanding is the dealers do not "have to" honor discount pricing - those who have gotten EP or FFP or other heavy discounts are on SPECIAL ORDERED vehicles -
I have yet to see a dealer willing to sell at EP or even FFP on a vehicle IN STOCK - more often you see them adding an "UPCHARGE" of up to $5000 for nothing and totally unembarrassed by such Price Gouging or at best mandatory extra equipment like $495 for a set of MOPAR Wheel Locks and a grand for strobing high mounted brake lights.
I have only encountered one in Sulphur La that offered a $1000 discount off MSRP on a 2021 2500 Laramie loaded up to $78k Window Sticker. I would have jumped at the time but I decided to order a 3500 Longhorn for $6300 off MSRP.

Thats if you can find a dealership that will honor EP
Thats on Ordered Vehicles - typically 12-16 weeks - maybe more - not vehicles In Stock - those go MSRP and ABOVE.

Next week mark dodge is about to round up with stickers hopefully, but this is based off ship dates.. and all of their customers hate sunroofs. We having a party when we go get our trucks off the same truck?

Yeah there is no way I would pay full MSRP. As soon as they told me that the price is what is shown and no discounts I changed my mind. Dealership was Meador CJDR in Ft Worth. Definitely never going there.
If you expect to buy off the lot below MSRP these days you havent been paying attention - a dealer willing to sell off the lot at MSRP with no Mandatory Safety Addons ($2000) or unembarrassed UPCHARGE of $5000 is one of the better ones. The ones overcharging were the only ones that still had trucks in stock in early September (wonder why?)
I have even seen a pair of 2021 Laramies in TX in early September with addons over $100k - high was a Laramie with MSRP in the mid $70k range asking $114k and unwilling to budge. Guess the Texans around him have more dollars than sense.
Hopefully it will get better as things start to fill orders and inventory, but for now best bet for discount is to Special Order.

I know right? Love this color for it varies a bit. I paid $1450 round trip to Michigan and back from California . Love your night edition as well!

Windows tinted and the Baja fog light swap was done before transport pick up.

There’s more orders than that. Mine is in KZ and 11/5 ship date. Just not listed as mark dodge on the far right column.

I’m doing my own undercarriage, probably using Blaster Surface Shield. Also going to do my own ceramic coat, really not that difficult with the right product and prep.
I’ll be using AvalonKing ceramic coat.

I salute your patience. I would be bald, on high blood pressure meds, and speaking to a priest on Sundays and a shrink on Mondays

Long time lurker here. Thought id chime in now that i have some info on mine. Ordered early June ( actually ordered a 21 in May but got cancelled). Finally went to D1 last week and just got my sticker today. About time some dang progress.....3500 HO SRW laramie Night edition, Level A with tow tech, sunroof and 12in

My dealer called on Monday 11/1 to say that my Laramie CC LB Hemi (3C63R3JJ9NG116917) shipped. He expected it to arrive within 30 days +/- a week. I think that’s pretty optimistic, gotta get from Mexico to Washington, then catch a boat to alaska. Seems like a lot of places to get held up along the way. Anybody else here in AK waiting on a new truck?

My truck showed up at dealer today (11/4/21) even though status has been KZ-T for 25 days now. It's been KZ-T since at least October 10th and was scheduled to be at the Denver rail yard 16 days ago. I assume it then took 16 days before they could get it on a truck for a 4-hour trip to western Colorado.

No status update since KZ-T (2nd rail departure) October 10th and it arrived at the dealer 25 days later. So... the takeaway from this is that the transportation status codes are not being updated in a timely manner or at all (but you already knew this). :)

I pick it up tomorrow (Friday) if it passes the recall temperature test and there are no bad surprises at the dealer. It's a 2500 diesel Longhorn and finally there will be pictures of a Mountain Brown Longhorn interior on this site once I get it. I'll also let you know if the 2022 PenFed $500 incentive works.

Why is the payload less but the towing is more on the HO? That is one thing I have never understood.

AISIN and transfer case weigh more than 68RFE and transfer case.

HO has 12" rear end. SO has 11.5".

HO has a bigger transfer case, BW 44-48 rated to 35K.

HO is rated to tow more. More power, stronger trans, stronger xfr case, bigger ring gear.
