You're doing it wrong
There is a few good threads on it, they are all capable of remote start, check for a connector on your hood latch if you have one then you either need the fobs or solder the buttons on the fob board (this is what i did), then all that is left is either having the dealer add the sales code or get alpha obd
They all have the capability now. You need to buy a key fob and hood latch sensor. The take it to the dealer and have them add the code for remote start and program the fob. If you have alfaobd, you can add the remote start, but you still need the dealership to program the fob. I got an oem kit from Moparparts.com I think.
