Maybe they are making some running changes to the rail cars to make sure they are indeed secure?

From what I’ve been able to glean from these folks here, the answer is no. I’m in D and that’s just when the vin is assigned and it takes sometimes 6 weeks just to get D1 which apparently means they have the parts for your build. I think that’s when you may get a build date but it’ll be delayed a few time from that as well. Then there the 5 weeks it seems to take to ship.
That being said, you WILL have your truck by New Years! For sure. New Years of 2023. Cuz I knows you wasn’t thinkin like New Years of 2022. No ways. Uh uh

8 weeks in D status myself with no estimated dates. They said "we are waiting on a chip". I asked which chip. They of course had no idea and I think that is just a pacifier answer. Funny how folk who ordered after me with the same options have already had their vehicles built.
 
@OfficerDirtySanchez - happy to report that my window sticker just popped up. Limited CC LB DRW 6.7 HO w/Max Tow, Sunroof, TTPMS, Tow-Mod Camera, 50 Gal Tank, Bed Step and all the other parts that people are speculating that cause a manufacturer or shipping delay. Please update the spreadsheet.

Mine sat in JS-LD for 13 days - which is probably normal, but seemed like a long time when you're pressing the button several times per day Ha Ha. The ESD was 10/29/21 - so pretty accurate.

Now for the long wait Part II.

I ordered them on mine. I haul stuff but usually lumber or sheets of plywood and there’s still enough space to get a 4x8 sheet in from what I’ve seen. Having the boxes will be nice for my tools/tool bags that I’d otherwise have to put inside the truck. I do kind of wish I’d ordered the cargo management for the bed because that would come in handy also.

I have had ram box in the past on a 1500 and never had any problems. My dad on the other hand got a 2020 ram 1500 with ram box and his DID twist and do not line up. I really like the ram box though. It really doesn't take up near as much bed space as some people think.

Thanks! Looking forward to the KZ-X day but no idea when that will be at this point. I don’t even know if it has truly even shipped yet. I’m still in disbelief that it even posted because my updated shipping date was supposed to be 11/11. As others have said, especially the insiders, you really can’t hold much weight to any dates you’re given at this point. The randomness of all this recent activity is almost impossible to understand or make sense of.

Wow! That is seriously awesome. When did you order? I did a limited SRW with different colors (not the longhorn) but everything else is the same.

I don’t typically use the space around the wheel wells except for the small stuff that I can put in the ramboxes instead and then they will be secured and not have to worry about strapping stuff in or it moving around the bed.

Looks like about 6 hours. From this, I think it is still there but released to go back to the plant for shipping.
