2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Well delivery date is a moving goal. Started off being 10/12-10/20 now 10/29-119. Was in Baltimore today and drove by the unloading Facility and there must be over a 1000 HD waiting on trucks to haul them to dealership. Why is Ram holding up trucks in Mexico no place to store them at the unloading facility. My truck has been in Baltimore for 2 weeks!

Did my ram chat today.... now they’re telling me it’s at Port Altima or whatever it is and should be in the US by Monday or Tuesday per there calculations. I’d like to know why it went to this port where they ship vehicles by boat, for my truck to be shipped to Lordstown lol

My wife ordered a couch that is being manufactured by Lazyboy about 40 miles from our house. She ordered this couch in Feb 2021. She is still waiting on the couch to be made, and I told her it may have something to do with chip shortage. I told her the same chip that makes the couch power recline is the same one they use for the powered running boards on the truck...haha. So now the race is on, who will get there item first. Her couch from Neosho, MO, or my truck from Saltillo, Mexico! D1 status for 37 days today!

That's funny. I grew up in Neosho. Lots of my HS class went to work at the Lazyboy factory.

Just got in our 2022 Laramie crew diesel we ordered 7/29/21 for work. The Limited Mega 2500 I ordered on 5/18 is still in D1. Just noticed the Laramie has no 4 pin trailer connector?

Look for 7-4 pin adapter in glovebox or back seat storage compts. My 2015 came with one but not sure about 2022. Should also be a 2.5 in to 2 in sleeve adapter possibly under seat
 
Finally got into a rental after my wreck last week, and I was surprised to find at Enterprise a 2022 ram bighorn, diesel, with 2500 miles. I figured as slow as they seem to be getting some personal orders out, along with low dealer inventory, that a rental places wouldn't have new trucks.
 
Had to go into the dealer today because apparently the level B group is a 2021 model year thing and the one for the 2022s is Level C for big horns. I had time today between jobs to go over the changes. Kinda crazy how the manufacturer doesn’t rally give dealers the most up rod are information. But at least my order is supposed to be entered today with a vin to be issued sometime next week. Excited and scared at the same time.

My wife wants a Yukon Denali Xl or the Waggoner. GM has a halt on the 3.0 diesel in all the SUV’S, the 6.2 and 5.7 gassers are dropping lifters and bending push rods. What to do?

Didn't order early enough to get Level B.
