Just got in our 2022 Laramie crew diesel we ordered 7/29/21 for work. The Limited Mega 2500 I ordered on 5/18 is still in D1. Just noticed the Laramie has no 4 pin trailer connector?

You have to use a 7 to 4 pin adapter. Super cheap and available at Walmart. Easier to plug in and out too.

Why when most pass and are being driven? Now I could understand that thinking. If everyone of the cummins were behind held Hostage.

Pretty much every chat support has the ability to see what the customer is typing even before they hit enter. A friend works for a large energy company as a chat support manager and routinely tells me tales of what people type, delete, and then retype more tactfully.

No 4 pin under bumper and no 2 1/2 to 2" receiver adaptor. Do have a multi-pin camera? plug in on bumper. Ordered Towing Technology b and 5th wheel gooseneck. No BSM.

Use the CarGurus website or app to search. The only one I’ve found with a filter for Mega Cabs.

This statement came from the Rep through the GM. It is waiting for “Your vehicle is built and waiting on the new R1 high performance radio.” It will have the 12” screen and 9 speakers.
 
Haven’t been able to keep up with the thread much over this week, but reached out to Sandi for my monthly update. VIN 3C63R3PL7NG115354 ordered 6/18, limited mega cummins with most all options, D1 w/estimated ship date of 11/12 per the updated POC. Dates are obviously flexible in this environment so we’ll see if that gets pushed out, but glad to see movement and be in the queue. Hold out hope, May and June orders!

My built sheet for my Laramie has that 4 pin connector wire listed as well as a 7 pin wiring harness...

I've replaced it with a Limited CC 4x4 longbed HO 50 gallon tank, air suspension, safety group, Towing Tech group, dual alternators, clearance lamps. Being a Limited it has the 360 camera and power running boards I wanted. All this in Patriot Blue w/Indigo Frost interior. What could possibly hold up this order? Waiting on a new VIN. Sounds almost like mine. I ordered 6/16, delivered around Oct. 15, picked it up a week ago today (Oct. 22). Differences: no air, no dual alts, black interior. Mine's SRW, not sure which way you went there.

Even if they are prioritizing higher end trims, you're probably talking 3-4 months. I read somewhere 50 gal tanks might be a thing that causes short delays (worth it though, even after just a week of having mine. It just makes me tear up to fuel). Once mine went D1 (early Sept.) the dates I got were only a few days off of actual. Honestly, I think I was just dumb lucky.
 
Funny story for your Halloween weekend....

My wife ordered a couch that is being manufactured by Lazyboy about 40 miles from our house. She ordered this couch in Feb 2021. She is still waiting on the couch to be made, and I told her it may have something to do with chip shortage. I told her the same chip that makes the couch power recline is the same one they use for the powered running boards on the truck...haha. So now the race is on, who will get there item first. Her couch from Neosho, MO, or my truck from Saltillo, Mexico! D1 status for 37 days today!

You must have ordered the Trailer camera wiring...so you should have a 12 pin connector in lieu of the 4 pin....correct? Also did you look under the rear seat and in the rear floor storage boxes for the 2.5 to 2 adapter? My 2019 had it with it from the factory. If you don't have it I would ask the dealer about it....that is getting you one for free.99.....LOL

EDIT: I looked at your build sheet and it doesn't mention the trailer camera wiring that must be the new standard replacing the 4 pin connector???

Just a thought here...... all those that ordered pre June 14 open order date. Maybe the DLR got your order but didnt put it in till June (when DLRs were allowed to place order to Ram). If they had a whole bunch to order, maybe they just had a stack and every day add a few orders and kept on going little by little. So maybe you think you placed order pre June 2021 but it wasnt actually submitted to Ram/FCA until after 6/14? Just a thought idk if true

Sort of. They’re building trucks but now they’re not moving out of the factory. My shipping estimate changed from 10/26 to 11/11 now. It’s progress but it’s not impressive.
