2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Not sure when it changed, but today I contacted RamChat and was told all parts were gathered so I emailed Sandi and she confirmed I am in D1 status with an estimated build date of Nov 17. The POC says estimated ship date is Nov 17 but she said that’s really the build date. Nice SURPRISED to see some movement. Order details are in my signature and POC below.

Edit: adding signature info for those on mobile

That's not really true in all cases. My estimated ship date sats 11/4 and it was built on 10/19 and shipped 10/20 and is stuck somewhere in transit

Yep.

My wife and I have been looking for a leftover 2500 for her. We were shocked when searching we stumbled across Ram dealerships across the country with 2021’s listed as “In-Transit”. Thought they were mistaken but it is actual. I doubt they’re still manufacturing 21’s but there are certainly ‘21 trucks out there that have yet to be delivered to dealerships

Betting they were sitting in a yard somewhere awaiting chips

I appreciate the thought. But no need. The positive comments in threads and messages is more than enough.

I'm just happy to add some value here which lots of members here seem to find useful.

EDIT: But I will chip in for a 6-pack for @brv10. He's the real all star here.
Here’s my virtual gift! Thanks to you both! @brv10

This may slow down you west coast guys as clearing up the docks is now under the executive order microscope and fines are being pushed. I read 60k containers had to be moved out by Halloween ! Lol!

Not gonna keep that bus waiting for long, hurry up! Jake L. also, and Larry!
Hopefully it won’t keep it waiting. I got my equipment listing so now just waiting on it to be done and get my window sticker. Any idea about how long it will take to get to Detroit once it leaves?

already tried, maybe force him to accept donations or give him a ban!

I feel like I'm driving the dealer crazy. Calling him every 2 weeks or so for an update! but no change.:(

Mine is a total of 18 days from Saltillo to the trucking yard in Detroit, once it starts and hopefully stays moving.

I just watched a segment on Fox by Tucker talking about the southern border and how people jump on the trains in new vehicles in transit from Mexico.
That’s probably another reason in what’s slowing down the transit because there’s a video of police stopping the trains and checking every rail car and quite a few vehicles had people in them.
(Not starting politics discussion) just think this information is helpful to this thread.

Edit: maybe this isn’t new and always was the case but I just heard about it and thought I’d share.

I can hear the Herb Alpert music playing! I also have your VIN's on a sticky here to check progress!
Is that checking regress or progress? I think knowing your truck is built. But not moving, has to feel way worse, then waiting on one to be built.

What could possibly hold up this order you ask? There are many many reasons. Stellantis is one, the fact you ordered a Ram another, because you really really want one is one, Santa Claus is in lockdown, the stars, the butterfly effect. A whole lot of other things.
Your truck is very similar to the one I ordered. Maybe yours is gonna delay mine! Damn!
The way I see it, by my cancelling my earlier order, you just moved up a notch. After all, we all know they build these things in the order that they receive the order.

Yes hopefully stays moving. So if my truck gets on the same train then it will go to the yard in Detroit then wait for it to be trucked to Traverse city. Thanks for the info, always appreciated!
