Auto Remote tailgate stuck

Needs some help. I have a 2019 Ram 2500 and just installed a OPT Redline Triple LED Tailgate light bar ( looks great). The problem, I disconnected the tailgate camera / sensor in order to remove the tailgate for easier installation. When I reinstalled the tailgate, I closed the tailgate to make sure it would close before reconnecting the electrical to the tailgate (camera, backup light, and autolock mechanism). Now I can not open the tailgate... it's locked solid.

So is there solution to fool the truck to allow me to unlock the tailgate or is this something I have to take to a Dealer?

Note - there were numerous comments on the OPT tailgate light blocking the hole used to lower the spare tire. I was able to raise the light bar enough to still allow access to drop the spare tire and still see the LED lights between the tailgate and bumper.

Interesting conundrum! Can you reach the electrical plug under the tailgate and insert the bypass connector that came with the truck? Mine was in the glovedox.

I used the bypass connector when I unplugged the tailgate.... and place the bypass connector into the tailgate frame. I checked and there is no way to squeeze the bypass connector out since it's located between the tailage and the frame of the tailgate.... good thought though

I'd be attempting to identify the hot wire for the latch solenoids, which would allow ya to bump the circuit with an external 12V DC source.

That was my thought since disconnecting the wiring to the tailgate prevents a signal to unlatch the gate. Since the plug to the tailgate is accessible I'll head to the Ram Dealer and let the experts deal with this. I'll post the solution so others can learn from my mistake.

No issues with fitment? Seems to be a great idea...though it claims to not fit the 2500. Where did you order through?

No, fits great. It was designed for the 19-up Ram HDs and the new Jeeps. I ordered through Quadratec, but you can order directly through PUTCO as well. I ordered a 7 round to 5 flat connector from Amazon and just connected it inline behind the bumper (be careful with that, because there's already a splitter for the 7 round in the bed if you have that option). The only other part is wiring in the reverse light wire to the 5 flat connector, but that's super easy.

Thought I should clarify.. the problem I had would "NOT" have been fixed by using this split LED Light Bar. This was a wiring issue between the truck and tailgate ( lesson I learned).
The 60 inch OPT7 LED light bar is my second.. first was installed on a 2018 Ram 2500 Hemi and this one was a 2019 Ram 2500 diesel. By removing the plastic grummet where the rod goes through to lower the spare tire, I had plenty of room to install the LED light and still provide access to lower the tire. Every post I've seen states the Redline OPT7 triple LED lights prevents lowering the spare tire... NOT TRUE unless you install it directly over the hole...
