2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

From looking at pictures on the web of Longhorn interiors, it looks like the leather colors change between years. In the online build tool, the current Mountain Brown/Lt. Mountain Brown interior I ordered shows much more contrast between the light and dark brown colors compared to the pictures of earlier trucks I've seen on the web. I like the more contrast between light and dark much better. I'm a little nervous about how it will look in real life and hope it really is close to what is shown in the build tool and not the lighter/less contrasting brown colors in pictures I've seen on the web. I've never seen any Longhorn interior in real life. It seems there is quite a bit of difference between the 2500 and 1500 Longhorn interiors and between the 2019 and 2021-22 brown interiors. See attached pictures. I guess I'll find out next week, if my truck gets trucked from Denver to Grand Junction by then. Right now the trucking out of the Denver rail yard is backed up so my truck sits there.

I noticed the same thing when I was doing my research prior to ordering my Longhorn. What I found was that in most of those instances, it came down to ambient light. I think if you see the trucks in real life, you’ll find that there really isn’t a difference. I’ve looked at several longhorn interior trucks over the last year and they were varying model years. All looked the same standing there in person. Ram’s online build tool doesn’t always do a good job of representation when it comes to on-screen color versus real life. This includes exterior colors as well. It’s something they need to address for sure.

You sure you ordered Night edition? They pulled it from anything other than Limiteds unless they started taking night orders again...
That’s what the POC says so I sure hope it’s a Night Edition. I’m hoping that since I didn’t have a lot of options, I won’t get held up waiting for any parts…….but that doesn’t seem to promising.

We have a new record, a Limited Megacab Cummins ordered on 7/27 and completed on 10/14 made it to the dealer on 10/23 for delivery, now will it pass the test?
Is seem the longhorns and limited truck with the HO are held up in storage. My truck been sitting for awhile with some others. I did see some standard diesels Longhorns/ limited start to move and get window stickers .

Speaking of records, I just noticed something on the VIN tracker list- @jeep65glen had order accepted on 8/23, and delivered to dealer in Wisconsin on 9/24. That’s gotta be close to an all time record.

That’s when quality control is at its best lol

Seems Not to many guys ordered regular cabs on here.

I'm probably naive, and always would like to believe in people's better angels. I've seen videos of how these trucks are produced. I saw very few places where something could go wrong with the level of automation that's in place now. There's always going to be the human x-factor, but I think the old notion of Monday/Friday cars or ones produced at night somehow being more prone to issues is much less of a factor with today's level of sophistication.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled conversation, thanks for taking the time.

From what I can find this should be the sensor for trailer pn 68510390AA
Also found different P/N 68433188A for earlier Trailer TPMS - wondering if sensors same for current Trailer TPMS and whether there are multiple configurations - - obviously Dual wheel stems are generally different from Single wheel stems and there may be multiple length options like on most HD valve stems - saw a post earlier that they were too long and may have curbing problems on Single wheels.

Does anyone know if they have suspended production due to the recall? I mentioned in a earlier post mine went from a BX status to a BG status, mine was ordered 2021-10-12.

From another site, " BG is all the paperwork submitted is correct up through a buyers order and deposit but there is some issue on the factory side. Typically they might be out of capacity to schedule/build temporarily, constraint on material, etc."

Truck finally made it! Ordered 7/26, Built 10/6, loaded on rail car around 10/13, made it to rail yard near Phoenix 10/22 and then to local dealer on 10/25.

3500 SO Tradesman with 8.4” screen, bed utility group, 50 gallon tank, 5th wheel prep, and some others. I was told during the build process that the 50 gallon tank delayed things for a short while.
