But back to the date at the bottom of the window sticker. Mine has changed 3 times so far. First when it hit KZ, 1015-0, then 1020-3, now 1021-3. Does anyone know what that means?
Believe it’s the build date and shift. No speculation why it would change. But back to the date at the bottom of the window sticker. Mine has changed 3 times so far. First when it hit KZ, 1015-0, then 1020-3, now 1021-3. Does anyone know what that means?
It keeps changing though. My truck was built on 10/9 and KZ status on 10/15.Believe it’s the build date and shift. No speculation why it would change.
Sucks man. Do it!I’m seriously thinking about doing this. I need to do some maintenance on my current ‘16 3500 Laramie. Since there is no end in aight for me and the ‘22 3500 Laramie, been kicking around the idea of doing the maintenance and upgrades on my current ride and keeping it, then flipping the ‘22 if / when it ever comes in.
Yep, your born on date is Oct 9 hour 10. If that extra digit is the shift it should relate to thatIt keeps changing though. My truck was built on 10/9 and KZ status on 10/15.
How can you find that "born on" date?Yep, your born on date is Oct 9 hour 10. If that extra digit is the shift it should relate to that
I'm clear...Pheew. Just missed the date by a few.You can now check on the government website to see if your diesel Ram truck is included in the recall. I checked my VIN yesterday and it said no recall. When I checked today the recall showed up. See below. Mine was built between 10/5/21 and 10/8/21 and shipped on 10/10/21. The website to go to is https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls
128 hereWoohoo!!! 169 days since order, and still hasn’t moved from D! Today is not the day…
I ordered the same truck w a Cummins. What tires did you put on? I have 35’s waiting for the truck.First wreck I have ever been in.
Here is a pic from couple hrs prior. Man that was a good looking truck
52 my build is getting one of them. HAHA Well by the time its build. They will have a different part. The recall is not a big a deal as it started out to be as far as a stop sale, and the fix is going back to the old relay, there is only 53 of those in stock nationwide.
It’s actually a re-designed CP3. I think they call it CP3-H or something like that. Apparently it puts out the same pressures as the CP4.2 (to make the Government happy for emissions), but it’s in a CP3 like housing now
I drive 1,000 miles down to Mark Dodge and traded, drove back yesterday. If they knew about it, they didn't say. But I don't think it was on their radar. Even then, it'd be a rough conversation to have with a customer from that far away they can't give possession of the vehicle.Damn you’re lucky that your dealer didn’t hold your truck for this bs recall.

If someone knows how to simply disconnect the relay (and hopefully not set a code) I'm fine doing that till there's a fix. If I have to, I'll plug it in as it gets colder here.
A service tech tested my relay and said it was affected…No stop sale unless upon relay inspection they find a high percentage of bad ones.
