They should make it where the mirrors automatically fold in when you turn the truck off, then fold back out...

Mine told me it was “practically the same” having an estimated ship date compared to having an estimated build date. Ummm not really.
 
Starting to get a little agitated. Sandi told me yesterday my truck was scheduled to be built the week of 11/21. But, someone with access looked it up and I’m still in D status. I contacted RamChat and they still say I’m in D status. I asked RamChat who to believe and they said that they would have the most up to date information

Ramchat is definitely not your source for the most up to date information. I wouldn’t hold too much weight to any dates given to you by anyone at this point, with the exception of insider info you get from people here who are definitely in-the-know. I was told by my selling dealer on September 15th that my truck was “scheduled to ship the first of the month (October)”. It is now October 22nd and my truck is sitting in storage at the plant in Mexico with an “estimated ship date of October 26th”. I highly doubt given the current shipping backlog that the truck makes it out of Mexico on time. Even if it does I’m looking at 20+ days to get it to the closest unloading railroad yard in my region. Dates are fluid in this game. It’s frustrating, believe me I understand completely.

Well damn, got an email about an hour ago telling me truck was in with pictures attached and I was all excited. Unfortnately it didnt come with night edition. I went through my emails and I had Sandi add snow chief package and I didn't notice she removed night edition at that time. Big screw up on both sides. So now i dont know what to do.

I’m hoping my ships out before Sunday, I doubt it but there is always hope

What trim level did you order? If you re-order, is it even a trim you can get NE on? Otherwise, if it is colormatched, just order the blackout components. Annoying but at least you will have a functional truck in your possession in the meantime.

Thats a rough one. If you are keeping it for a long time, make sure you get what you want exactly or you will regret it at some point. If its your truck for only a couple years, try to decide if you can deal with it for that long.

I’ve been at this since 6/21. I’m aware of RamChat’s sketchiness! Thanks for reply tho. My agitation is more towards Mark Dodge for lying for no reason. If there’s no update, then don’t lie to me.

I hear you. Ordered mine 6/29

If Sandi told you your truck is scheduled to be built the week of 11/21 and you’re being informed by both Ramchat and an inside source that you’re currently in D status then that sounds normal to me. You’re a month away from when your truck is scheduled to be built. You should be in D status at this point. D is firm schedule with an estimated build date assigned. It doesn’t sound like anyone is lying to you from what I read on your post. I’m not trying to defend anyone, or call you out, just sounds completely normal to me and probably aligns with just about every truck being ordered currently? Maybe I’m missing something?

Mark Dodge is among the most reputable names out there. RamChat is among the least reputable. Mark said one thing, RamChat said another and you're gonna say it's Mark that's lying??? Late November is a long time away. There is a "hopeful" date of production in the system as soon as you go into D. It's not advertised by anyone but insiders. That's likely what your date is. Still D, but potentially scheduled for late November. RamChat didn't have a clue about this date so they don't see a date. Give the benefit of doubt to Mark Dodge and take everything RamChat says with a grain of salt
