Putting 35s on a Power wagon

So finally got my toyo 35” spare. I was amazed at how thin the side wall is on the stock duratracs. Compared to the toyo there is no comparison. of course the toyo weighs about 14 pounds more...i gave up trying to get it in stock location even with no air it was wedged firmly against the trackbar and back of receiver hitch. When i get more time will try the above heat shield mod but not sure how that will give me clearance on the trackbar

I totally agree!
The higher rated E tires a must for power wagon, since it's a 3/4 ton 2500. Especially because of the trucks weight.

For my next set of tires I'm thinking about Kenda Klever MT2 35/10.50/R17 running 305 70 r17 maxxis razr mt now. I like the idea of keeping the tire in the wheel well hence the 10.5.

I'm running the Kevlars on my PW. So far, I like them a lot. They took a lot of weight to balance when new. But second balance at 5K, they were within normal range for weights.
