2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

My ship date is also 10/24. Got notified this afternoon it's in framing. Very little chance it makes it on a train by Sunday, but it's moving at least! 3500 srw Laramie gas Level 1, CCSB, Delmonico Red, night, air, 5er prep, tow group (cameras), bed group.
That’s awesome!!! Sounds like an amazing looking truck too. I’m going to message my salesman again tomorrow morning and see if there is any progress since I last checked this morning.

Even if the news is "D1 still", just remember until the minute it starts framing, it'll be D1 and we have no idea if it's going to be another day or another month. So frustrating!

Haha right? It is what it is though. We’ve already waited this long. The new truck happy feeling has long gone, but when it’s delivered I’ll feel like a 4th grader on Christmas morning.

Just got this back from Sandi...

We do work through Central Dispatch which is a large consort of transporters and we help all our customers arrange shipping. We actually discourage anyone from trying to pre-arrange as we can get the best pricing and we want to ensure that your order is accurate and in perfect condition before it ships. I don’t see why they couldn’t arrange shipping to Huachuca City AZ. You might ask the logistics specialist though if it might be less expensive to Tucson if that is an option for you…just thinking outside the box.

No need for you to be here, our team works with you virtually for the entire process. Zoom is often finances preferred delivery system with our customers. Our technicians also use zoom or video conferencing to help with feature process and set ups.

We really do appreciate our customers and do all we can to help make the process enjoyable! The wait is the toughest part.

Edit...She's still amazing!
I have a home 15 mins from huachuca city in Sierra Vista. I also want to have my truck shipped when It arrives but I’m a little paranoid that it might get mistreated and damaged during shipping. Is the shipping company used by mark dodge the same shipping company that transports the truck from the train to the dealer?

Shouldn’t be the side steps unless maybe you have power running boards?? I’m almost kicking myself for not getting the bed step. I really don’t need it since I’m 6’1, but my 5’4 wife might have found it handy lol
I am 6-4 and have one on my current 1500 and it is one of the best things on my truck

Could be. They transport for dealers and manufacturers.

You can get bed step as a Mopar accessory. - about $300 if i remember correctly. 10 minutes to install - no holes to drill everything you need is therr

No, I don’t think so. It sounds like a co-op of sorts. I believe they bid it out to various transport companies that are members of “Central Dispatch”.

I’m planning to have mine shipped, think I will ask about putting a cover on the truck to protect from rocks/debris/bugs.

AMP also makes one I believe, around the same price.

AMP research also makes one that is extremely nice and works well. It’s a good option for folks who are ordering but don’t want to risk the hold up for parts constraints. I had one on my 2017 and absolutely loved it. I skipped over the factory bed step on this new truck I ordered because at the time, it was one of the items holding up orders. Opted for the AMP research one. It’s sitting here in the box waiting for a truck that’s still on vacation in Saltillo Mexico apparently

If you cover it make sure it is really clean and cover is soft and well secured - otherwise wind buffeting cover can do more damage than bugs

Need to do more checking, but If it's a co-op of transporters, I'm sure we could request a "covered wagon" to transport. Did this with a few vehicles I purchased.
