2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Both times I called Ram chat and spoke with people they both told me the same thing and both told me they had no more info for me and sorry they couldn’t help more. My current build sheet says D- firm schedule serial number is assigned.

It’s not a perfect science and I have no idea why the variation In the responses but I assure you if you get the right person they can get you better info than the generic jargon. I’ve had it happen 2 times out of 5 calls over the last 90 days.

Today was my estimated ship date for my 05/18 order 2500 Laramie 6.4 night edition, safety group, tow package, sunroof... Dealer and Ram Chat say I'm in paint stage...
Not that it means anything, but it's something for me to gauge how their estimates are. My estimated ship date is 10/24. Hopefully I'll at least be in some stage of production at that point.

My ship date is also 10/24. Got notified this afternoon it's in framing. Very little chance it makes it on a train by Sunday, but it's moving at least! 3500 srw Laramie gas Level 1, CCSB, Delmonico Red, night, air, 5er prep, tow group (cameras), bed group.

It's not my mirrors,it's either my side steps, rear step or 5th wheel.
Shouldn’t be the side steps unless maybe you have power running boards?? I’m almost kicking myself for not getting the bed step. I really don’t need it since I’m 6’1, but my 5’4 wife might have found it handy lol

So, have a new one this morning. After being in paint last Friday, I just received this email from "Cara":

Hello Andrew,

This is a courtesy email update regarding your all-new 2022 Ram 3500 factory order status.

I presently show your order has been cloned and is following an enhanced and prioritized production schedule.

Cloning is a manufacturing process for vehicle orders that sit too long in one status. Our factory resources put through a secondary VIN/VON order with the same vehicle specifications and make sure that the clone keeps moving at an enhanced and expedited rate.

At this present time, your vehicle is in the stage prior to being released by the plant. The vehicle may have been selected for additional quality inspections or held for delivery purposes. The new VIN for your Ram 3500 is 3C63RRJL4NG190038 .

As promised, we are continuing to prioritize your order with our logistics resources to ensure your order remains prioritized for next steps.

I will continue to monitor your order with our logistics resources teams. Once additional updates become available for your order, I will be reaching out further to you to share these updates. Your authorized ordering dealership will be an additional excellent resource for any order updates or questions you might have.

I will continue to follow your order and provide details as they become available. Thank you for your loyalty and we’re proud to have you as a member of the Ram Truck Family!

Sincerely,

Cara

I looked up the new VIN and it already has a equipment listing posted, and looks like it is still my original order. Will probably be the highest VIN Laramie with power folding mirrors. :)
Here's your build sheet/equipment listing.....your truck is almost the exact same build as mine.

CONGRATULATIONS!
My sentiments exactly. I also got ordered mine from them and I live in Colorado too so I get the 1600 mile drive back. I’m gonna make a vacation out of it. I’ve never been to Louisiana.
I too was prepared for a lot of pain and it was way too easy. Scary easy. The pain will be the 5 month wait!
Drove to Louisiana yesterday. And started back to Tn today. Thought I would give it a test run. That way when the trucks ready. I know the route.. Naaaa just went to look at a 4600 lb toy for the bed of the truck.
Sure looking forward to Seeing Louisiana again soon. Then the truck ride back home. Good luck with your order.
