The 75A lights are just the adaptive headlights that come on the upper trim models. They made them standard on the 75a and an option for newer power wagons. They were't available as an option in 19 or 20.Not sure to be honest. I have a 75a and love it. I will say the lights on this truck blow away the halogen projector lamps on my 2018 Rebel. The LED lamps on the 75a shift to the right or left when you turn your steering wheel. This is fairly common with higher end cars (MB, BMW, etc.). I also recently noticed that when you hit your turn signal, an extra white LED light will illuminate the side that you're wanting to turn towards. It's not like a police spot light or anything, but it's a nice feature as it adds a little more light for you. Anyway, I really like the lights on the 75a PW. I don't know if I'd call them otherworldly or anything, but I like the look as well as the functionality of them. On a side note, I didn't realize there was any hype on these lights.
I knew there was a more "official" term for the lights. Thanks for clarifying. Also, didn't realize RAM was offering them on other models. That's pretty awesome.adaptive headlights that come on the upper trim models
I'm pretty sure thats the fog light engaging. Thanks for the info guys. My wife's 1500 has the extra light that comes on when turning at low speed. It is very helpful. Not sure how how big a deal the adaptive headlights would be for me.
Not sure as I keep my fog lights on whenever the headlights turn on. I only see the side light when I use the turn signals. There seems to be another light that turns on briefly. I could very well be wrong though. Not sure.I'm pretty sure thats the fog light engaging.

The same settings can be changed with the TazerRam. I was playing with them this past weekend to figure out how to turn the headlights completely off. The Tazer has a setting that can do it, but activating the parking brake turns the headlights off, too. Some of you are conflating several different features and functions.
- The Adaptive LED Headlights are projector LED pods that turn up to 15° outward and 5° inward with the steering wheel. This can be disabled in the Radio.
- The Fog lights directional lighting assistance happens with either steering input and/or turn signal application at low speed (20MPH IIRC) to light up a single light on the turn in side.
- Factory fog lights "drop out" with high beams. This can be changed with AlfaOBD so they stay on with high beams.
FWIW. You can also change the location of the DRL with AlfaOBD.
I'm not sure the hype either...I have had several...Currently a 2019 1500 Limited....I have a 2022 Power Wagon on order...Every one of the Ram trucks has bright assed lights...I don't really care what it comes with as they all work pretty damned well in my experience. Not having a PW and not ever seeing a 75th, what is all the hype about surrounding the head lights?
