Sure, integrity & principal mean a lot but the dealer also has no control over what incentives, rebates or what affiliate programs are available, the manufacturer does so why should they absorb a $6k loss because Ram pulled their programs? Especially when they will just turn around and sell your order for MSRP, making even more profit. Just cancel your current order and order thru Mark Dodge. You're not going to get affiliate pricing no matter how much you bitch & moan about, that deal has been pulled and no one here cares if you cancel your order. If so concerned about price then you should have went with MD or ordered a cheaper optioned truck to begin with. The tax savings is minimal and if your that close to the edge you should have considered it prior to ordering. I get wanting the best deal possible, which is why I went to MD like a ton of others here.
And sure, you would think word of mouth means something still, but it doesn't, at least with dealerships. Peoria Ford is one of the biggest ripoff artists in our state, they sign and agree to pricing on a contract then add in an ADM after the fact or upon delivery and you either pay it or walk. I ordered a Shelby thru them years ago, had everything in writing, car shows up they added $7500 to the price and expected me to pay it, I told them pound sand and ordered elsewhere. Guess what, 9 years later they are still in business, playing the same games and yet they are as busy as ever, especially in these times
