2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

2022 limited mega cab diesel, no sun roof, level 1, off-road, night edition, snow chief, dual alternators, diesel. Ordered 7/27, D status in August, D1 status September. Current status KZLD, found build sheet, no window sticker
So once in KZLD status is there any other further status update that you can get? It means that it's waiting for a railcar in storage right?

Sure, integrity & principal mean a lot but the dealer also has no control over what incentives, rebates or what affiliate programs are available, the manufacturer does so why should they absorb a $6k loss because Ram pulled their programs? Especially when they will just turn around and sell your order for MSRP, making even more profit. Just cancel your current order and order thru Mark Dodge. You're not going to get affiliate pricing no matter how much you bitch & moan about, that deal has been pulled and no one here cares if you cancel your order. If so concerned about price then you should have went with MD or ordered a cheaper optioned truck to begin with. The tax savings is minimal and if your that close to the edge you should have considered it prior to ordering. I get wanting the best deal possible, which is why I went to MD like a ton of others here.

And sure, you would think word of mouth means something still, but it doesn't, at least with dealerships. Peoria Ford is one of the biggest ripoff artists in our state, they sign and agree to pricing on a contract then add in an ADM after the fact or upon delivery and you either pay it or walk. I ordered a Shelby thru them years ago, had everything in writing, car shows up they added $7500 to the price and expected me to pay it, I told them pound sand and ordered elsewhere. Guess what, 9 years later they are still in business, playing the same games and yet they are as busy as ever, especially in these times
I apologize, I didn't realize only certain people were allowed to complain about certain things. Now that I understand the forum rules I'll go back to my corner. Thank you for the explanation.

Here is the proof you ask for, it has been posted before. It is up to date, scroll to the second page and you will see that there are only 2) 2022 "Eligible Vehicles: Giulia, Stelvio – eligible as of 8-27-2021 Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer – eligible as of 9-28-2021"
Thanks. Email has been sent to my dealer to confirm that my quoted pricing is not 100% contingent on affiliate pricing (Tread Lightly). When the price was negotiated, there was no mention of affiliate pricing and we agreed upon the final cost. The Tread Lightly portion was brought up later. If it is, I’ll be walking away from my order. While I can easily afford the truck regardless of the price, I have budgeted “X” for my vehicles and that is what I based my build and deal off of. A 10% price increase will be unacceptable and I’ll go to my backup truck option.

I really hope it doesn’t come to that and the dealer will honor the pricing regardless.

FYI - I set up an account at MOPAR.COM last week, but was unable to add a VIN at that time. After receiving my build sheet a couple of days ago, I tried again and was able to "add a vehicle". Pretty cool looking stuff and am perusing it now. Just thought this may be interesting to some of you with orders currently rolling down the line....

10% price increase is insane. Was your price changed by dealer after you signed everything or you are talking about 10% in discounts and rebates?
Tread Lightly only adds $500 to discount in my case.

The difference from MSRP to the negotiated pricing is just a smidge over 10%. If the negotiated price is ultimately contingent on affiliate pricing, there is the potential of a dramatic increase in pricing from what was originally agreed upon in July when it was ordered.

I truly hope the dealer honors the negotiated and agreed upon pricing because I believe that Ram makes the best HD trucks on the market and I am really looking forward to owning my first diesel.

Sadly I’ve been burned by dealers in the past and wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they don’t honor the price forcing me to not so subtly telling my dealer where he can shove the truck and demanding my deposit back. It will then be off to order my plan B.

Official build date of October 14th 2021, hour 21. It rolled out of the plant at 1:26 A.M. on the 15th.
When mine is finally on it’s way, would I be able to ask you to get me details like this? I think it would be so cool to know every detail like that about my truck. If not it’s totally cool, I just don’t think there is anyone other than you with the same ability and passion about these trucks.
