After I told my dealer about the U5 TSB (which I got from THIS FORUM) he said that he called his regional FCA and she didn't know about it either! Nuts. To their credit, they did put me in contact with a regional Uconnect person who knew right away what was going on. I kept trying to describe the problems I was having and she just kept saying, "We have a fix for all that, let's just focus on getting your system reflashed". She knew right away what the issue was. Apparently the info. just had not trickled down to the dealers.
By the way, to update you all, after the Uconnect 5 Nav TSB was applied to my 2022 truck, the system seems to work perfectly. It has only been 2 days, but I'm very happy.
Mostly happy that I am on this forum and someone sent me the TSB to get it fixed...not so happy that it wasn't communicated to and applied at the dealer before I took delivery!
