John Deere offers a similar experience (actually even more in-depth) that’s called the “Gold Key Program”. It is available at no additional cost to the purchaser. You select it when you order a tractor. They let you know when your machine will be built and they schedule you to come in and follow your truck throughout the build process directly on the factory floor. They even allow you to help assemble it. I’ve always thought it would be an awesome experience as part of custom ordering a truck through Ram as well!

Could you imagine how much of a scheduling nightmare that would be, especially when your date gets changed 2, 3 or even more times and you need to change your airline ticket to match the moving target. Plus the plant is in Mexico so now you have to have a passport to even be able to to Mexico to see your truck.
The Ram Care program is up to 2 oil/filter changes per year for 2 years FREE at the dealer (Any Ram dealer). This also includes 2 tire rotations free per year. Jeep has the same thing (Called Jeep Wave) but they just changed theirs to 3 years of free oil changes/tire rotations.Anyone who has picked up their new 2022 HD from Mark Dodge or others, do they come with the 2 year Ram Care program? The build and price tool has the Ram Care logo under each trim and this is what pops up:

I emailed Sandi and she wasn’t sure on this. Said the Finance folks would handle/know such things.
I plan on getting the 8/100k extended warranty either from Mark Dodge or Ziegler.
Id like to be in on that tooCheck in

You would think these company s, would fix it where you can watch your truck go down the line. Pay so much for the truck, how hard is it to track your trucks movement down the line? Send you a notice when it starts. Shoot just give screen shots of each station. I bet when they find out. That some people would pay for this. You got it, this option will be added to the Option list.
So how do we find out what zone we are in for shipping?

The dealers should NOT be getting chip trucksBecause "Sold orders first" is something we all really want to believe in but really doesn't exist. I understand that dealers have huge investments in their businesses and MUST have inventory to stay in business. However there should be a balance between production of sold orders and dealer inventory. I believe that given the daily production numbers that have been tossed around on this forum they could easily clear the sold order backlog in a fairly short time frame if they would limit the dealer inventory orders to more basic trucks. I don't think it should impact the dealers sales negatively given the shortages between all the manufacturers. And it increases volumes at the factory which is the name of the game in mass production.
