Question for those that have their 2022 6.7L HO truck. Does it use the same air filter as the SO? I have a K&N on my 2019 and need to know if it will fit my new 2022. If so, I will swap it out befor I trade it in.
Are they really that bad? I ran one on my GTP for years with no issues? Which one do you run?Oh lord, please don't put that screen door filter on your new truck.

Yes it doesDo the Thuren alignment specs work better for a stock suspension or just modified?
It has the electrical in the box. That makes no sense. No fifth wheel prep still has the 7 pin in bed. The only thing is the puck system
ThatguytalkssofastIcanbarlykeepupwithwhatheistellingme!K&N are notorious for flowing more dirt than air. For a recent comparo watch Project Farm.

Factory filter flows more (well filtered) air than you will ever need unless tuning over 500-600HP.
As someone who's waiting (im)patiently, I get it. However, I think it's worth pointing out that RAM also has to support its dealer network. If a dealer doesn't have anything on the lot -- which has been the case for quite awhile now, for most dealers -- there's nothing for them to sell. I have no idea about the business side of that balancing act, but I don't think it's fair to expect them to do only sold orders. Also, the way I understand it, RAM (Stellantis) makes its money when the dealer is invoiced, so it makes no difference to them if it's a sold order. The dealer makes money when they sell a vehicle. After seeing lot of dealer inventory and seeing the last 6 numbers of vin makes me question being told sold orders built first. I’ve seen numbers from low 100000s-high 140000s I get it that they need some inventory and too but just not what I was told by dealer and then they get 2 trucks in 2 weeks after order. And I’m guessing vin numbers start at 100000 not 000001 I haven’t seen any lower then 100000. Hoping to see lots of window stickers this week since haven’t seen any new in 3 days now.
I have a friend that is a fleet manager at a large Pennsylvania dealer, 2 months ago he ordered 40 vehicles under friend’s and families names. After seeing lot of dealer inventory and seeing the last 6 numbers of vin makes me question being told sold orders built first. Those people have no intentions of buying said vehicles. I imagine other dealers do it also.
Factory thinks it’s a sold order when in fact it’s ordered for dealer inventory, they have been doing that for years, High volume dealer.
How long have do you normally wait for a your vin to get made? I ordered my truck on Saturday and already got one this morning. My cousin ordered a ford 2 months ago and still hasn’t got his so I guess ram is a doing a bit better.
My understanding as well.I was under the impression that this isn’t possible in the current climate based on the parameters that FCA (Stellantis) has set forth and must be met for a sold order. I was also under the impression that sold orders must be sold to the person that ordered it or else the selling dealer can face consequences for fraudulently placing sold orders (temporary suspension of ordering)

Good luck on getting yours through my dealer caught me by surprise today saying it was in D status already says it should go to D1 in week or 2.Ordered mine 6/29 and had a vin within a week or two. The vin’s seem to come on pretty quickly based on the posts being added in this thread. It’s getting over that road block of D and D1 status and into actual production that’s the hold up. Today marks 75 days for me and I’m still D1 and waiting. There are still folks who ordered months before me that have made less progress. There really isn’t any appreciable logic to it.

so that last part to me is why they would be doing their dealership the most service by building sold orders first. The dealer network would be getting paid as soon as the truck showed up to their lot…not sitting around a week on the lot waiting for a buyer. I know it’s not business breaking, but there are still loan carry costs for that week.dealer is invoiced, so it makes no difference to them if it's a sold order.
