2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

What brand rear mud flaps is that on the new truck? Going to mount some on mine before leaving there when its in.
Nice looking truck for sure.
Those came with the truck. They are dealer-installed, "free" dually flaps (see pic). I think they install them because many states require duallies to have mud flaps.

Like you, I was concerned about driving "unprotected" , and I didn't know if Mark Dodge installed the dually flaps. So, I brought a set of front and rear Husky Mud Guards with me. After the pic was taken, I installed (all of three factory screws per flap) the front mud flaps (without the paint protection film strip) to get it home. FWIW, the flaps on the Pearl White 2020 are the WeatherTech flaps.

FYI, just Googling the part numbers for the Husky mud flaps, I was able to get both sets of mud flaps (Amazon and somewhere else) for a total of about $85 vs the $150 or so full price.

Beautiful truck! I was surprised to hear the color was MSM, I had initially thought it was Patriot Blue. It looks a bit darker and more dark blue than the once I have seen in person. That is a very tough color to judge as it looks completely different in pics than in person and looks nothing like the configurator. I ordered the same color too so I'm not picking on it. Congrats on your purchase!
In the photos, it does look pretty blue. But, one of the things we love about Max. Steel is it's color shift with different lighting...and that wreaks havoc on camera exposures :) Here are a couple of alternate shots.

Ok seems to be clearance light issues? My 16 leaked due to the tiny plastic straws some how getting clogged. We will see.
Maybe the clearance lights are it. I thought about that. But, my leaks happened mostly when the truck was parked at a cab-down angle (backed into a sloped driveway)...such as might happen when an a-pillar drain channel was overwhelmed. It didn't seem to me, in that scenario, enough water would make it to the lights to be the problem.

The photos at the dealer were in full sun. At home today, it's overcast.

I support clients in Guam where it is now, as I write this, Monday. That's always fun figuring out even with it showing on my claendar.

Very good to know, I was planning on doing the same once my truck gets delivered to Mark Dodge. Might only bring a front set of flaps now.

My 2016 3500 had a leak once in the sun roof. But it looked like the sr was an after thought. The headliner was held in with 2 sided tape from the factory I was told. But my 19 had a sr and no problems there. And the new one will also. So we will see.
My leak was fron the clearance lights as my truck didn't have a sunroof. My leak was starting to cause electrical issues though, so I wanted to only go through the warranty instead of fixing it myself. Had a feeling the repair would snowball given my leak was was through the a-piller, the headliner itself, and the overhead console from behind the lights.

Thanks that will be good. My wife is not happy about her new SUV being behind the truck. But were driving it down 9 hours. Then put it on a Tow Dolly. That way were not driving both back. The trip back home may turn into a 16 hour trip. So want to make sure the new Ram is not throwing rocks at her SUV.

I see a lot of you upgrading to the 22 from 20’s and 19’s. I’m coming from a 19 my self. What’s some of the reasons for the upgrade? I’m actually thinking of leasing this time. Since I don’t hold on to my truck for long.
2019 1500 BH CC and decided to try 22 HD BH CC gasser to start pulling campers to enjoy retirement in a couple years. Probably trade again in a couple years if the prices are right.

Dealer Stock alert! So I did a drive by today and saw a MY22 on the lot! White Big Horn Crew Cab 4x4 6.4L

If your interested in this DM me and I can get you in touch with a very good and straight forward Sales Person. This is the dealer I use.

I must say the color combination was way better than I imagined.

well, mine is supposed to ship in a week or so, if its on time we will see if it gets held up there. Since it is going to the same place as yours
What should have taken 10 days has taken 20 days on the BNSF to get the truck to Chicago. Been in NS yard for 2 days will check tomorrow for movement. It will get slower till January.
