I agree, warranty work should not be denied by same brand dealer. Is everyone that bought from Mark Dodge going to travel across the country to get something fixed?Let them flat tow it back to selling dealer - esp if they consider driving it as is a safety hazzard - I agree with you it is driveable, but I would not want to be on wrong side of an accident and discussing that with Police and Insurance Co - and I doubt RAM would either - they would say they told you not to drive and you disregarded - all on you. Make sure you have it in writing (text, email etc) that they are telling you to drive it 2.5 hr back to selling dealer.
Warranty stuff is supposed to be done at any RAM dealer. Only legit excuse I have seen is schedule overbooked - earliest we can do it is a week from Thursday - but FCA should be able to prioritize it if they wanted to.
And based on the questions as to how blank screen was - I am guessing its more likely hardware not software.
