Titan or S&B fuel tank

Looks good. At least the cards won ;)

How much past the frame does it hang down?
Looks like in the same location as the stock one. I measured for you

How much past the frame does it hang down?

At installation, on my 2021 3500, the 52 Gallon Titan is about 1 to 1-1/2" lower in the front than the stock tank. Titan advertises it as hanging 2" below the frame rail but mine is definitely more like 3 to 3-/12" below even though it is mounted tight up under the truck. But I believe my stock tank was an inch of two below the frame so the Titan is probably about 2" lower than the stock tank.

I do not go off road, just some washboard and bumpy gravel F.S. and BLM roads. I have not had an issue with it hitting anything but I would be worried about the front of the tank being in the high center underneath this long truck if I was really off road. Here is a photo of mine from the driver's side.

One thing that has had me wondering is that from the side it looks like the front of the tank is a bit deeper or lower than the rear. I have not measured that on flat pavement, but I think it is true, and not just an optical illusion. I don't remember exactly where the fuel is pumped from in the Titan tank but I think that the location is further back and not in that front section that looks a little lower. If I am correct about the pump location (?), then the fuel could run dry in the pump location while there is still a gallon or so in the bottom of the front section of the tank. In any case, it does not really matter to me as I make sure not to run my fuel down anywhere that low. With the OEM 31 gallon tank and my nervousness when I get to anything under 1/4 tank, I probably had a useable fuel amount of 25 gallons. With the Titan, I have probably 46 or 47 gallons useable fuel. That is a big difference to me when towing. It has meant that in almost all cases, I do not have to fuel up with the TT attached. Doing so is not a big deal, but it is sure nicer to not have to.
