Well, "Est ship date moved again from 10/6 to 10/23", scratch that AGAIN, dealer just called and said they changed the ship date to 9/29 (TODAY) but says they show it is still in D1 but did say that all their custom orders that are delayed are all night editions...:(
Says we'll start checking daily now.

Back in June/July, when we were looking at the order codes for '22s, does anyone recall a code XPG which was labeled "Paint Protection Group" on the list of order codes someone had seen.

I've never seen any further description or pricing about this. Anyone have information or seen it on the dealer's CONNECT screen??

I remember it but it wasn't available when I ordered mine or I would have added it

It all comes down to what products have the biggest margins. unless you have access to all of stellantis's financials, you wont be able to put any logic to their decisions. Even if you did, im sure it would still be hard to find logic.

From what I remember, it was a new option for the 1500s but not the HDs
 
@RAM_Dad Yes that makes sense...

If I recall. it seemed like it was related to that outrageously expensive clear paint overlay they use on the lower panels of the DRW (and others) bed to avoid chips, etc.
 
Glad to see more build sheets available today on the spreadsheet. The fact the plant is shut down this week makes it strange they are now showing up but everyone down is one closer to mine! I dont know how many "chips" are in a Limited but they sure seem to be passing over them more and making lower trim levels, damn sure seems like the MC's are the red headed step children.

Megacabs and sunroofs for sure. I couldn’t pass on the MC since I have two kids in car seats, but I didn’t want the hole in the roof so maybe that’ll help my cause a bit!

I ordered a level 3 , and a decent amount of extras guess I'll see it never lol

My l2 pw has an estimated build date of second week in october, however i dont know what the plant shutdown will affect on that. Per stelantas customer service no change....let me get out my salt.
