2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Just went through this with my truck, it's a 107000 truck, a dealer is getting 2 sequential trucks for stock that are 159000 trucks, waiting for an answer or explanation from Ram.
3C6UR5FL2NG103632 ordered 5-30 same boat just wish they would give us anything other than parts are being gathered… gonna find a winter beater and try to forget about the Ram ha.

Especially since I could have ordered a Ford and been driving it already. Worse part is just the simple unknown. Nobody really has any clue when I might see my truck. I get ship dates...but they get pushed back and pushed back. Trucks with same options are built and shipped already. I know I'm preaching to the choir... but geez...

I just got off the phone with a relative who runs a network of dealers, mostly Ford but has a Ram dealer and others.

He said all brands are in the same boat. H-D trucks are in high demand and if there weren’t supply chain issues they’d all still be struggling.

When asked about priority for manufacturing, he said it is all sold orders first vs. dealer stock, and ordering from a larger dealer may have an effect on moving you up in the list. This is in “normal” times.

Now, he said it is purely commodity-based. If they have the parts or not is how they make decisions, on what to build when, that’s it.

He said events like the chip plant fire, unprecedented high demand, and the fact that it’s hard to get people to work consistently from COVID are what’s causing this.

Taking a quick look at the order list on here, I don't see any Laramie Crew Cab models with build sheets or window stickers. I see Mega Cabs, and Chassis Cabs, but no crew cabs. Anyone here have any movement on Laramie Crew Cab orders?
Ordered Laramie CC 6.7 no sun roof or BSM on 8/14. Still in D as of the shut down.

Also, it is very hard for dealers to get good info, as the situation is sometimes day to day.

So, in some crazy attempt to make sense of all this, I’m starting to think the supply chain issues are worse than we think, making it hard for the manufacturers to operate consistently and on a schedule, which also explains dealer and Ram Chat lack of credible info.

Looking to order a Black Limited 2500 Mega Cab. Night package, 5th Wheel/Gooseneck, Auto Level Rear Air Suspension, Auxiliary Switches - I/P Mounted just to name the must-haves. I am in California can someone provide me with a place to order. Also, what is the expected dates for the LIMITED to be released?

I would say your local dealer. I just ordered mine pretty much the same but not a mega and with sunroof. And I’m in northern Cali.

I'm close to California and I chose to order from Mark Dodge. Even with the shipping cost I'm pretty sure it was my cheapest option. Lots of West Coast folks have done the same. Pricing is 11-12% of MSRP. Email Sandi at [email protected]

If anyone in-the-know is punching VIN’s and wouldn’t mind punching in one more, I would appreciate and welcome a status update on my Longhorn. 3C63RRKL3NG138060, no update from Ramchat in the last few weeks and the dealer says it’s due “first part of October”

I also have a Crew Cab Short Box Laramie / Cummins on order. Have only seen one with an equipment listing so far. I was moved to a C status before the shut down. I have the bells and whistles (sunroof, blind spot monitor, towing tech and auto steps). I did see a couple 2022 Laramie's listed on Autotrader on dealer lots, so they must have the mold to build them - ;)

Same. Ramchat on friday said "all the materials needed to start build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process." Kiss of death bah ha ha...
