My cover has been ordered and will be on hand long before my truck. I will have a weekend of adding the 50 gal tank, bed cover and then the tow camera to the RV once the truck arrives!!

Hello. After reading through 200 or so post’s I’m coming to the conclusion it will take along time to actually get my truck? So after much thought I’ve decided to place my order for the 22 2500 Limited fully loaded. Sunroof and all. Was really hoping they would have the panoramic sunroof by now.

That’s the same way I’m thinking after finding this thread

Are you missing a zero? You were post #7,600. Lol

But yes, it will be a while before you get it. Many of us ordered in April, May(me), June and have seen minimal movement after the mass D1->D regression. My opinion? You’re on the right track. If you want fully loaded, go for it. Seems silly to me to worry about options that “may or may not” delay your build when custom ordering a brand new truck. Good luck! And agree, I would like to see the pano sunroof as well.

Yes i meant 200 pages. They gave me 68 for my 2019. I don’t drive it so it only had 7200 miles. After reading the threads, I thought this would be the perfect time!

My truck was supposed to be on the train yesterday, but I was told it was still in D1 on friday, so I doubt that happened. Ill reach out and see if I have a new estimated ship date. If the plant shutdown happened im sure im waiting a bit.

Microchip shortage hits heavy-duty Rams, Grand Cherokee and Dodge vehicles

Plants producing heavy-duty Ram pickup trucks, the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge vehicles will idle next week due to the global semiconductor shortage.
Demand for consumer electronics has led to a scarcity of the microchips used in vehicle electronics, halting factories worldwide and increasing vehicles prices. Automakers have sought to protect their most profitable vehicles, but they say they have little insight into the chip production deep in the supply chain.
A global microchip shortage is pausing production of heavy-duty Ram pickup trucks next week.

After weeks of downtime this year, though, Stellantis NV's Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario will return to producing Chrysler minivans next week. The automaker last week had expected it still would be down.
Meanwhile, Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit will idle for a second consecutive week. It produces the Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs.
Production at Saltillo Truck Assembly Plant in Mexico and Brampton Assembly Plant in Ontario also will halt. Saltillo makes the Ram 1500 Classic as well as the 2500, 3500, 4500 and 5500 heavy-duty trucks. Brampton assembles the Dodge Charger and Challenger muscle cars as well as the Chrysler 300 sedan.

Yes unfortunately we're all aware. All we can do is hope it doesn't last longer than a week.

Hi all,
I just read the majority of these posts. I have a good understanding that we are all excited with very little information to work off of. I placed my order at a local dealer on August 11th. My plan was, or "my wife's plan" was to save for two or three months so we can have a very substantial down on an extremely expensive truck. Our dealer who we have done business with before purchased my truck and another car from us while the market was high. They gave us what I think is a very generous price for both. Both were above trade in value and in the middle of private party in kelly blue book. That being said I felt we should order from them. I have my build sheet I will include here with just msrp listed. I have not received a VIN yet. It seems I should email and ask about that. I am not in a hurry but am as excited as all of you and would like to be able to monitor progress. I know that is probably a very futile effort with Ram. One question I have is for those with a FWP listed on your build sheet. Mine only shows msrp. I have been told they may offer a small discount below msrp but due to the demand on this vehicle most dealers are selling above msrp. What has been your experience with price based on your ordered truck? Thank you in advance for any input and for having me as part of this forum.
You can join "Tread Lightly". It's an off-road/Jeep group but has discounts for all FCA-based dealers. The discount is typically 1% below dealer invoice. The membership fee is nominal to the money you would save on that 1%.

I was looking through some windows stickers, and don’t know where to find the correct info. Do the 2022’s limited‘s come with the floor storage bins?

Finally able to order my new truck. Got my first new vehicle ordered with all the options I want.

Yeah, I'm hoping it will be here within 4-6 months. Sales manager said this was the first Patriot Blue Night Edition he had seen. Most people apparently don't choose that combo.

I was going too do that combo on mine but the boss decided I’ve already had blue trucks for 10 years so she thought a different color so went with Delmonico red

The research I’m doing on finding if the plant is shutting down this up coming week is coming up with only one result. I can’t seem to find any other source other than that Detroit news article. Is there anyone else that can truly confirm a shutdown other than that one article?

All I know is my dealer said his rep for contact when ordering delay if you get sunroof and on Friday afternoon that was still what I was told

Does anyone know if you can truly mirror your smartphone to the 12" screen? As in watch movies or Netflix on it? When I drive across country I usually sleep in the back seat instead of getting a hotel and would like to watch something while I am winding down for the night.
