2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Dealerships are posting 2022 Ram 2500 on their websites as "in transit" and with window stickers:

Huh, wow. Yet I'm still waiting for my 2021 TO SHIP and still don't have window sticker. What a sheetshow. Should have waited and ordered a 22 but I didn't want to wait that long...hahaha well, the jokes on me I suppose. Dealer is trying to work with area manager to see what happened. Maybe the cartel stole it and it's being used.

If you search cars.com for 2022 rams you can really get some insight on standard equipment, what's included in equipment groups, and tech groups.

A couple dealers I talked to on cars.com said all the 22's they are getting are sold units

That’s what I thought. What we are seeing in transit is actually just fleet truck orders.
I’m seeing quite a few tradesmans and a few big horns that have window stickers, and are not sold orders according to their build sheets.

Ram is in a much better position than the other 2 companies, just takes a bit of research to find that out.

Good friend of mine ordered an F-350 a few weeks before I ordered my 3500, let’s say beginning of May. He took delivery a week ago.

The only stick in the spoke is that Ford started taking the 2022MY orders a couple months earlier than Ram.

I am on a couple Ford SD forums as well. Ford has it much more together. Working build tool. Really great updates and tracking.

Too bad they don't have a Mark Dodge or Chapman Dodge offering 10-12% off sticker price. I've only seen two Ford dealers offering deals and it's only 2% or 3% off invoice. Still great deals in this environment. One of the dealers is a Chapman but in PA. Wonder if it's the same owner as in AZ? @AndreaChapmanScottsdale

They also started accepting orders in March and started producing early July. where ram 22 orders was late May I believe.

All this Ford talk would be great if I wanted a Ford product. But I don't. I want the product RAM offers.

Sooo... back to conversation about 2022 RAM builds?

Well, seeing as there’s been little to NO movement in majority of our orders, we gotta have something to talk about. Until the orders start rolling in, and everybody is happy, and all of us are helping guys that order in January with time frames and questions, the meaningless posts will continue! Sorry for bothering you!

Sounds like Granger Ford in Granger, IA is the Ford version of Mark Dodge.

Yeah they are the 2%'er. Chapman Ford in Horsham, PA is advertising 3% off ordered SDs on their website.

Edit: Have to add something Ram related to this post... Ramtrucks.com has updated their website with one 2022 model. The ProMaster.

I stop by the dealership this evening and found out that my truck is in c 1 Status. It was a D on Wednesday. The safety equipment is the big delay now . My truck was ordered on 7/1 ,3500 limited mega cab vin ng118912. Then I called Ram chat and talked to a real person and confirmed it was in building status but no eta at this time.

Hi all,
I just read the majority of these posts. I have a good understanding that we are all excited with very little information to work off of. I placed my order at a local dealer on August 11th. My plan was, or "my wife's plan" was to save for two or three months so we can have a very substantial down on an extremely expensive truck. Our dealer who we have done business with before purchased my truck and another car from us while the market was high. They gave us what I think is a very generous price for both. Both were above trade in value and in the middle of private party in kelly blue book. That being said I felt we should order from them. I have my build sheet I will include here with just msrp listed. I have not received a VIN yet. It seems I should email and ask about that. I am not in a hurry but am as excited as all of you and would like to be able to monitor progress. I know that is probably a very futile effort with Ram. One question I have is for those with a FWP listed on your build sheet. Mine only shows msrp. I have been told they may offer a small discount below msrp but due to the demand on this vehicle most dealers are selling above msrp. What has been your experience with price based on your ordered truck? Thank you in advance for any input and for having me as part of this forum.
