What did you do TO your RAM today?

Finally installed the CJC intercooler guard that has been sitting in my garage for months. Need to get some of the bumper inserts so I can mount the plate without the huge stock plastic chingus.

That plate bracket looks like a little soul patch.

Really like the CJC intercooler guard.. been eyeing one for a while now. Just can bring myself to pull the trigger at almost $400 USD.. converted to maple syrup, its a damn pretty penny.

Got the Titan 50 gallon installed today. Wasn't fun at all. Also got the calibration done. Not sure why Ram wouldn't offer the 50 gallon from the factory
Nice tank, I'm pretty sure I'm going to install one as well. Any issues with the install? What wasn't fun about it? I'm thinking trying to do it on a 4 post lift made it tougher to just drop out? Fortunately I have both a 2 & 4 post lift so I'm thinking the 2 post is the way to go

Making sure the Sending unit locked into place was a pain. I didn't want to break anything, also the front bracket was a pain with big hands. Pulling the driveline made it easier and if you can take the rear drivers tire off gives you more room to work.

I wanted to do this mount as well but I'm afraid of breaking the screen when yanking the whole screen out. Do you hear any rattles or squeak after re-assembly?
Its not as bad as it seems, once you do it you just have to commit (one sharp pull), other thing is to make sure the spring clips are still on. Ive done it a few times already without issue.

Yup, a bit daunting at first but it’s actually super easy to do. No rattles and it’s back in tight.

Ok, good info to know! Sounds like a task for my two post lift then. And I fully understand the big hand thing, it's a frequent struggle for me when working on cars, especially tight spots

Once you remove the top two screws under the cubby cover, just grab inside that cubby and give a sharp pull. Just make sure you have something over the shifter stalk (if Cummins)

I haven't heard of anyone breaking anything yet. I've had mine off at least a dozen times now.

Word of caution for anyone using those top two screw holes for a mount. If the mount sits flush (proud) and doesn't drop into the screw indents, use a filler sleeve (I used hard rubber faucet washers) or the gorilla fisted service tech at the dealer will pull the inner nutclips out of the plastic when they use a high torque driver like a crazed Neanderthal.

Nice!!! How hard was it taking the grill and trim pieces off? I need to do a few mods that require me to pull them off but havent really seen anybody do it.
It's not "hard", it's just a bit time consuming, lots of screws, plastic snaps/tabs/etc. The worst part is removing the lower "eyebrow" under the headlights. They use snaps and you feel like you're going to break them for sure. Luckily, I've done this twice, with painted and chrome eyebrows, and haven't broken one yet, knock on wood.

It's not too difficult but it sure was not fun. It involved with a bunch of screw and tab removal (over 50). The most annoying one were those 5 screws under the grill for the center lower front trim removal. And the most difficult one were those two trim pieces underneath the headlights. They were on it good with tabs and pulling it out feels like you gonna break the trim piece. My suggestion is to take pictures as you go since there are three types of 10mm bolts with different spec.

Exactly what I was trying to say. Every time when I pull them out I feel like I am gonna have a little heart attack.
