2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Raining like an SOB so just a couple of pics from outside, but that tan interior with the olive green is a knockout friends!
Congrats, Love the color, my Tradesman is the same color but with black interior. I had tan interior on my 1500. A little tough for me to keep clean.

One issue with the bakflip MX4 and having RamBoxes is that you have to remove the utility rails. I've been eyeing the LoMax since it integrates with the utility rail. Downside is the retaining system to keep the cover flipped up sucks; you have to adhere mounts on your cab.

Verified still in "D" status while the factory closes. I can take a vacation from the site I guess until they start up again. Yeah right... Pause in the action boys and girls.

Had to come up with something to pass the time. This works for a photo op. Imagine what it would look like RAM if I had my center piece for the family collection.

They say you can use the factory rails

Ordered a 2022 Laramie megacab w Cummins, sunroof, rambox, 8.4 screen, night edition first week of July. Level kit is in along w 35” falken tires. Holding off on ordering tonneau as there is only a 30 day return. Thinking MX4 backflip. Was told this week build date is scheduled for 10/18.
I was looking at getting Falken AT3 in 35". does anyone know how much that would change the fuel economy on the Cummins? I was not sure if I should go 34" or 35". I am also waiting on ordering the camper shell we need for our three dogs till I see some movement on the build. Currently it is at D. I ordered 8/11, CC, Cummins, Laramie with 8.4", level b, auto step "my wife had to have" and towing tech with night edition.

I had the backflip, I was not really impressed with it. It kept getting "dinged" on the top of it. It was also easy to break into with a coat hanger as well (which was a relief to me at the time). Found another brand that was almost the same price that I loved. Transferring it from my 2020 to my 2022. Other than the cosmetics on the top after some wear, it was a good cover.

Hey guys . Just ordered my mx4 tonneau from tonneaucovered.com out the door for cover for a ram box bed is $889. Without rambox it’s $829. Came with tailgate seal as well. My local dealer wanted $1300. Thanks for all the members for helping make up my mind.

I pulled the trigger and ordered a 2500 Laramie on 9/21. It was hard to pass up the money I got for my 2011. Hopefully it doesn't take too long.

This will be my second mx4. Almost went retrax this time but you give up too much bed IMO
You lose 14 inches of bed space. Also I had non stop leaks with the retrax. Customer service was great but 4 covers later and they still leaked constantly . Went with lomax on my 20 limited and never had a leak. Just ordered mx4 for my 22 and got a $500 discount

Any of you considering debadging your new truck. I like a nice clean look without decals. I am also considering taking off the Laramie badge because of the way it looks. For sure will pull dealer badging if they put it on.

New 3m eraser wheel, floss, fishing line and heat gun are ready and waiting. I'm adding this:

So how much does which dealer you order from impact the time until production? I understand there has been no rhyme nor reason as to production order, but wondering how MD timing would compare to a local dealer order.

I also understand delivery to dealer would vary some based on which dealer is chosen.

I have a 3500 Longhorn Megacab SRW with Rambox marked D1 and scheduled to ship 10/10 if that means anything. Looking for best gooseneck hitch for truck with Rambox as well as options for in bed location of electrical connector for trailer
Also trying to decide between bed cover and Mopar sliding toolbox p/n 82211357. Recommendations / Pro/Con would be appreciated
And lastly tires - going to stay with stock LT275/70R18E and probably Michelin. There seem to be 3 Michelin options Defender LTX M/S, LTX A/T2, and Agilis CrossClimate - Would appreciate info on anyoe using these, particularly the newest Agilis CrossClimate - in pictures it does not look like a truck tire, but it is Load Range E
Thanks, Ed
