I like doing business with a handshake and taking people on their word. If they fail to meet their end, then I take my business elsewhere. I’m hoping there won’t be an issue but you know how car buying can go!
If they drop the ball I’ll take my deposit back and order another one somewhere else.

Wish I could find a secret squirrel..;) My truck is scheduled to ship tomorrow, however is still in D1 as of this morning, go figure.....oh well, will get it when its ready.
 
My dealer told me that ETA is 4-5 wks after ship date.
Im in central Texas roughly 60 miles north of Austin.
Based on some of these other time frames that I am seeing, it seems like that may be long.
Any thoughts on that from any of the "pros" here?

Hey I'm 60 miles north of Austin too!!

Should be less than that, I don't see your truck on our list.
 
So I need some advice. As of last week some of you know I went to the dealer to complain about the “price increase” after we settled on a price and I put a deposit down. Here is the price increase so far. Not much, but who knows what it may be when it comes in. Like someone else posted in here, the FCA has a Price Protection that states once a order had been received and a deposit is given, that’s the price of the vehicle. If I recall correctly, the FCA price protection has to be in the order as a build code. From your sheet it does not appear to be included. Also, on the bottom of your POC it should read "This is not an invoice..." blah blah blah about how prices are subject to change.
 
With the wording on the bottom of the sheet, you may be SOL? Did they/you sign anything? My dealer signed it with an OTD price and sent me an e-mail regarding the price guarantee. ETA; Unfortunately, in today’s market they have the upper hand.

Funny thing is the original POC never had that funky blah blah blah on the bottom. Only the new updated on has that. But my dealer doesn’t care at all. Told me in person they guarantee that price and guarantee this and that. Everything so far they’ve taken back there word and told me to complain to the FCA about it.

Can‘t stand a business/person that goes back on their word. You’re probably going to have to decide if you want to play games or start over.

9/6 is when I was first notified by dealer of D1 status (not sure how long is was before that date as he hasn't provided any updates to me, I had to call or text him for updates..:rolleyes:). Est ship date at that time was 9/23, as of 9/16 Est ship date had moved to 9/22. I would have expected it to be in at least E, F or G shortly after that and be placed into I or J as of today if shipping out tomorrow.

Same here, I’m gonna play the game until it’s in transit and try again. If they still are playing games, I’m friends with the owners son. So we’ll see how tough these guys are when I bring him into play
