A few people have received that same message. Fingers crossed it’s accurate this time.

I got an update from RAMCHAT today as well, I asked what status code this corresponds to, and was told they don't give out status codes anymore.
I then asked how long it has been in this status, they said 4 days. Going to call my dealer and see if they see the movement on their end as well

must be the day for that response. got the same one today. but was also same response i got last monday lol ordered 6/19

I keep getting this answer, then the next time they say they are waiting for parts. I am toying with the idea of asking them multiple times in a day to see how many different answers I can get.

My dealer 's info is no better, says it has an estimated ship date of 8/28/2021 in the system but it shows as not being built....the logical flaw in the RAM system is pretty big.

My weekly check in is the same D status as before.
2500 Mega BH Level B and Tech
Ordered 7/20

Emily was also my rep and stated is the shortage of chips. I did ask if anyone could explain the selection process of building these trucks, as we all know trucks are being built with later order dates that also require more chips based on options. She couldn't give an answer, not the I expected anything different

A coworker just ordered a Taycan S, loaded. Already being built, due first week of November, ordered last week.

Anyone else feel like Joe Biden is selecting what trucks to be built?

He does not want people out driving around with Covid, his plan is to keep the pipeline of chips shut down.
 
Ramchat says my parts are received and should begin build process soon. Checked with my dealer, they still show D status and no ETA

Also talked to “Emily” today. Was told my truck is in the stage prior to being released by the plant. When I told her i was told it was shipped to storage a month an a half ago ish and asked why it would be there so long. I was told it’s waiting on a ship date to be assigned. Don’t get why it would take that long to assign a ship date when others have been shipped or have dates built after mine. Just my little 2cent rant. Trying to impatiently be patient. Haha fun stuff. Gotta love it.
 
My salesmen just called to give me an update. I am still in D status. He said it has been crazy this year esp with rail cars. IDK how there is a shortage of rail cars. I had not heard this or seen it but there was a shutdown of the border with rail cars and they had moved a lot of storage to TX then lost a few of them (think he said they were 2021). He did explain that some options were changed on new orders so Group A and Group B are now C & D (which I saw here first last week) and this is really just a line item option in those groups relating to shortages (chips).

He said there is no trying to figure RAM out at this point. Said that one order was in D status then two days later it was in shipping status. Who knows. He was optimistic that I should have my truck by the middle of November. I am expecting Jan so I can be excited about it coming in early.
