I live in Centerville also. I went to that dealer ready to order but noone gave me the time of day. I was told the person who orders trucks is out today and come back Monday. I ended up ordering from Cronin in Lebanon. It is nice to see the 22s showing up on the lots.

Even with me having a signed POC with the sales price we agreed on. So at that point I was super heated, started telling him that this was super unprofessional way to do business and shady. He threatened to cancel my order for me “ raising my voice at him” lol. My salesman calls my buddy that works in service saying that I need to quit blowing him up (meanwhile I’ve only texted him a total of 2 times), and he’s gonna light the truck on fire as soon as it gets to the dealer. Long story, but who knows if they’ll cancel my order or not. Told them not to, but my salesman is that type of guy that would do it behind my back I feel like.

I would call Ram and file a complaint against the dealership.
 
That could happen, the dash needs to be in before the VIN is attached

Perhaps it has 15 processors, but the chip count will be more like 1K.

I hear you brother. I didn't order until 7 August so I don't have the right to complain just yet. I reach out to my dealer every 30 days. Something tells me I'll still be D on 7 October.

My first time ever posting anything in a forum so sorry if I’m doing it wrong. Didn’t know how to create a post so I just hit reply. Anyone know if surround view camera is offered on new builds right now? I’m getting ready to order a 3500 Laramie and I don’t see it listed nor do the dealers on their side. It was part of the towing tech group on ‘21’s. Is it a victim of chip shortage or still standard in a certain package?

It was part of my Laramie build. It’s included in my towing tech group. Tell the dealer to build one and click on on towing tech group and see if it’s included. Otherwise you may have to bump up to longhorn or limited.

They upped their doc fee from 200 to 444 a couple months ago.

If they gave you a purchase order to sign with the 200, are they obligated to give you the 200 dollar doc fee, or I wonder i they will up it to the 444.

For the early orders, I believe we are locked in at 200. Just as a heads up for people ordering recently.
