2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

My POC from Mark Didge doesn’t reflect “3AB Price Protection”? Is that something done when ordering or something the dealer requests post order when prices change?
Mine from mark doesn’t say it either but I know for sure based off what Sandi has told me we are locked in when we sign.

Exactly how I feel about it. But the only time I was rude, was when they were being rude. I treat people how they treat me.
That being said If I were you I would be gone. Get your deposit back, get out, good for them they can mark up your truck. You might even get it built sooner by re-ordering lol
Try to find a number you can put a complaint in at ram and then move on.

What’s holding me back is that I already have a estimated ship date of 10/2. Well at least I hope I do lol

Without the Price Protection Option you are s**t out of luck! It states on the POC:
"This is not an invoice. The prices and equipment shown on this priced order confirmation are tentative and subject to change or correction without prior notice".

The "Price Protection? option is a no charge option. If your dealer will not add it, well, I just don't know what to say about that!
Can you show us your POC? i feel like my dealer would have added that but I dont see it either.

Your dealer adds the option when they place the order. It just guaranties you get your locked in price.

I see the issue but personally i would want to be done with them. I guess another issue is if you ordered the night edition on a laramie or big horn, you wont be able to get that option when you re-order.

I’m just worried if I reorder I won’t get all the options on the Limited that I ordered

I don’t show this on my poc but my dealer stated, my negotiated price at time of order is my price.

How are people ordering 2022 trucks when the build site still hasn't been updated and all the dealers around me seem clueless about what options will be available on them? I'm growing frustrated waiting for the build site to be updated. I have $40,000 to put down, have been ready to order for weeks now, but I'm still waiting on that site or the dealers to know what will be available.

I have built the exact truck I want on the site in 2021. -

Power Wagon, olive green, power wagon level 2 equipment group, manual 4x4 shifter, 8.4 uconnect with nav, ram boxes, bed utility group, roll bar steps. It works out to just over $65,000 for a 2021.

No dealers around me have a clue what those things will cost in 2022 or what will be included in the different packages or even if it would be a waste building a truck like I want considering the Power wagon level 3 package may not be much more than what I added individually to the 2021 and will come with much more.

I need to talk to someone at Mark Dodge seem like they know what's up, but I'm a 1000 miles away from them.

Where you located?

Central Indiana
Not sure if any dealers up there. Mark dodge is a good option though. For the price I saved compared to local dealers I’ll still be saving 9k by flying down to pick it up. Could prob have it shipped for $1500 or so also

yeah your dealers sound incompetent or they misunderstood the question.

I'm gonna go with "that's not the whole story for 800". There's no way a salesman and manager are both that rude out of the blue. You must be a real treat to work with.

Not sure, I've heard that the big horn will be losing certain options, making them much closer to the tradesmens.
U connect 5 is one difference, the option packages have been changes a bit, there is a post by Stellanti that breaks it down.

How far away from them are you?

I have one dealer who was able to get me friends and family. It was going to save me nearly $5,000 on a 2021 75th Anniversary. I said do it, had the cash in hand for deposit and then he realized that he couldn't even order a 2021. or a 2022 for that matter. That was back in July. Like I said, I'm growing very frustrated.
