2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I just saw the HD RAM instagram post. That grill is way to similar to the Limited grill. Why would Ram do that!?

Well I know I was late to the party but joining in I now have my VIN and build sheet. I added him to the build sheet list above too.

Called my dealer this morning - he said "still D, we have no idea what is going on; maybe call RAM customer service.."....... ---- so I called Ram (rather than chat) and spoke to a very nice young lady who said "your truck is set to be built but we have no estimate of shipping, and we can't see any build date. It is generally 7-9 weeks when we see this; there is a note in the system here for someone to look at if there is a delay on your order - they should be contacting you today with what they found." ........ I am not going to hold my breath.

I believe there is a small wizard in OZ behind a large curtain randomly picking orders, the munchkins have no clue; the wicked witch of the chip laughs at us and we just have a long brick road to wander until we find our new trucks way home.....

Why is everyone skipping the sunroof? I always get them in my trucks never hadan issue..

For me the #1 issue was headroom. Especially in the back seat, if I sat in the back and leaned forward I'd hit my head after only moving like 2 inches. It was crazy how much headroom and small it made that rear feel. Same thing in the front but really noticeable in the back.

I also never used mine in previous vehicles much, but now I also own jeeps and just go topless/doorless so there's that.

Hi @OfficerDirtySanchez - you're doing a great job and giving us great analysis. Thank you very much...

Just heard from my dealer. My 3500 Limited CC LB Max Tow, DRW, HO, BSM, Sunroof, Diamond Black, Zone 32- New York (ordered 07/21/21) just hit D1 and scheduled shipping of 10/04. VIN: 3C63RRRL3NG122561.

I'll bet that @Roaming Investors, who ordered same truck, same model, same day and sequenced 3 digits apart is ready to get some good news too.

Oh hey, small world. I'm from Hurricane on the Teays Valley side. Moved away a few years back. I miss the hills and small town vibe a lot (and Bob Evans).

@J-J my take is definitely not headroom...just 5'7" here. Mine is a fear of leakage, and the sunroof is just a novelty to me. I don't use it to get out, I don't use it to get things into the cabin, I don't use it to see if it's raining, and the air ingress/egress is minimal to a 4x90mph I can get from the other windows. Nowadays you can't even leave it open for fear of a rogue cigarette landing in the seat or somebody trying to get in the cab to steal the thing.

I have one in the wife's SRT, but it came that way and the sunshade stays closed. I don't have one in my camaro cause some nice amount of power and traction tends to tweak them and make them leak like a t-top did in the 80's. Our '67 GTO is a 'vert....and that's plenty of sun on my head!

TL/DR; Leakage.

I guess working nights makes me want to get all the sun I can when I can.
