2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

GM just announced a bunch of their semiconductor shutdowns are being extended.

Likely going to see more slowdowns for Stellantis and our trucks production too.

Quick question I was looking at my build sheet and it says build priority: 99 but it seems the ones everyone else is posting say 01

Curious where you are getting shipped to? Mine is headed to Mark Dodge. In storage as well, hoping its just a logistic issue waiting for more to fill the load (wishful thinking)
I ordered mine from Classic CDJR in Texarkana Tx. They matched what Mark Dodge quoted me, so I ordered it locally.

Have you received your VIN yet? I may be wrong but I think that changes to 01 once your order has been accepted and you get a VIN issued.

I am guessing when they send you an updated POC (priced order confirmation) that shows a VIN the build priority will have changed. At least thats what I noticed with mine.

I'll call the salesman to see if I can get that since it should already be done.

More shutdowns are inevitable. Which is the main cause for my anger every time a similar or even more optioned truck ordered LONG after mine gets built or D1. Just above this an more optioned MC ordered 2 months after me is going D1.
So all of us who ordered early will get the shaft when they run out of chips after building all the recent orders.

It was mentioned before that they are building the most profitable firsts….? Maybe that puts all of us who ordered may and June last since the pricing increased multiple times since then.
Could be, could be...
Edit: But there are a bunch of late Jun/Jul builds popping. No price increase then...

I am not seeing that, I posted previously about a dealer receiving 2 trucks for stock virtually identical to mine with a sequence number 52k after mine, so much for customer sold vehicles being first.

Yep. 5/10 here. It’s obvious not a chip issue when other limited level one trucks ordered in July and august are being built and shipped
