2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Not that I really expected anything different with my Limited order from 27 Aug, I did get the RAMCHAT to say its still "D (since 2 Sep)", I am showing that your order is in the scheduling phase of the manufacturing process. The parts required to build the vehicle are being scheduled and as soon as they available and ready, order will be scheduled for build. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided.

I only ask that it may give some folks a clear understanding that Limited Mega Cabs are NOT a priority to bump others. I check once a week (Dealer or Ramchat)
You will soon find out the uselessness of RamChat.

My dealer is great, I prefer to work with my Salesman vs Ramchat but he wasted his time at the Browns game yesterday. Had to lick his wounds for the day so I thought we would try Ramchat. As I get status updates I will provide for those trying to figure out this madness. I hope to have it before Thanksgiving though.

So under normal circumstances a VIN contains a sequence number that an owner can use to guess at how many came before...I do believe that this is no longer the case for most of 2021 and all of the 2022 MY builds if there are later build/bundles being used to group like components based on allocation. My 158391 could become the 148666 built, but the VIN sequence is bigger. Right?

The 48666th ditch the 1, that is where thr sequence starts

You are correct. But the way they're building them, all else held equal your 158391 will probably be built before 119391 for absolutely no reason. Happy waiting! (Or maybe not)

Any news or rumors on 2022 rebates?
I seriously doubt that we're going to have any rebates available at delivery. Demand far outstrips supply and probably will for the next 8-12 months. From a business perspective it doesn't make sense to lower margins through incentives when competitors aren't turning out vehicles any faster to potentially draw away your customer base.
